    Overpriced. It should be around 1.3 mil. It should be cheaper because it is made in korea. Shipment is short and cheaper. US price is around 26k usd. The price is mindblowing. This car was supposed to be according to americans affordable new car with high technology included. The Philippine market is disappointing.

      This car got ADAS and several features 😂 Unlikely to be priced at 1.3 Million Pesos as its not made in Indonesia or Thailand 😂😂😂

      KOrean made cars are typically more expensive than China and Thai made, hence the hyundai and Kia are priced pretty high

    • @krismine99

      Let me point out some things to you that may factor into the different pricing. You guys get rear vents, rear cup holders, led taillights, leather seats, and dual tone paint. In the US, the top trim doesn't offer any of those things at all. I'm trying to figure out why we didn't get those options and they just gave us the bottom of the barrel features

      Cars are affordable in the US. Here it's double the price because of taxes.

      Why are Korean made cars priced higher than Thai or Chinese made cars. Because Koreans have two hands and Thais and Chinese just have one hand when they make cars 😂.

    Overpriced. Should be 1.3 / 1.4m max. Even at that price, would be hard to compete with other brands.

      if i own billions, even if this car is underspecs, i will buy this for pride.
      the fact that im the only trax you can see in the road is a plus and
      this is not a bad car in the first place 😅😅

    I do think Chevrolet's problem really boils down to where they source their units, if this was made in Thailand, Indonesia, or even China, tariffs on this wouldn't be as high as it is and would be competitive to its segment, and that fuel EC is actually great compared to its competitors it's a midpoint between the thirstier 1.5 liter units and more frugal hybrids. If it was priced between 1.4 to 1.6 it would've been a great choice.

    • @alipaguia6498
      @alipaguia6498 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I honestly don't think the problem is just with the factory producing the cars, it's with TCCCI themselves. Hyundai sources the Tuscon from Korea and plays in the C-segment crossover class with Toyota's RAV4, the Honda CR-V, the Haval H6, and Mazda CX-5. If sourcing cars from Korea is an issue, then how is HMPH able to price the Tuscon well and provide decent features (ADAS aside of course) vs the competition? The Trax is supposed to compete in the premium B-segment crossover class with HR-Vs, Corolla Crosses, 2008s, and the like but they priced it at 1.9 million! Makakabili ka na ng Innova Zenix at that price, and hybrid pa! TCCCI can't even price a Chinese-sourced crossover right with the Tracker (and that is a mediocre B-segment crossover all things considered unlike this Trax). If the Chinese brands can create super sharp pricing using the trade agreement and HMPH pricing Korean made cars decently, why can't TCCCI? Their management, mark-up calculations, and negotiations with GM factories have a huge role in why their pricing is so wack imho.

    For the gas gauge you don't have to guess the fuel level from the 5 bar digital display because it gives you a miles to empty reading in the drivers display. He should have explained that instead of saying have to guess based off the 4 bar guage.
