I absolutely love that mines came with an 11” entertainment center and digital dash (didn’t think I was going to like the dash but I love it!). I also love that it came with push to start as some of the models don’t come with it lik the LS and 1RS trims. It gets great gas mileage too! I started on a full tank on Friday (06/16) and have been running around everywhere since and am just now about to reach half a tank. You can’t beat 28-32 MPG! In all I love this small suv!
@@cashonly6117 yes same, even if your willing to turn it off every single time it means you should never buy used as who knows if the previous owner was leaving it on.
I just bought the Trex LT the sticker had $25,700 then with the front tint, wheel locks, and other things added, push the price to $27 thousand and some change. Not including tax. For some reason, the prices are higher in Tennessee along with Tennessee high taxes smh. Mississippi was selling them as soon as they hit the lot. Nice car but I over paid for it.
I’ve had my Trailblazer 1.3 AWD for over a year and a half and 38,000 miles. It’s been trouble free and I’ve been pleasantly surprised with how well it does everything. Bought on a whim and I’m very happy I did.
Looked at the Trailblazer ... the Trax to me seemed to be the same interior volume, I need to haul the wife's wheelchair, was about to pounce on a Trailblazer till a friend bought a '24 Trax ... like them both, but with a close to $4K price difference on a LT model, the Trax made better sense money wise.
The key difference is that you can get the 1.3 in the Trailblazer, but not the Trax. I live in the mountains so that extra horsepower makes a difference, otherwise I might have saved a couple grand and bought the Trax, which I think is the better looking of the two.
Its a decent hatchback for all intents and purposes and its priced right. The market needs more cars like this for commuters and people just starting out. I'm glad to see GM is trying to accommodate them. Not every working person can afford the average priced car that tops 50K. I'm really surprised at it having active noise cancellation and the ACTIV has 8 way power which would be great for my long legs. I'm seriously considering on of these.
If you end up buying one, it would be appreciated if you let us know what you like and dislike about it. It's on my list of CUVs to consider. I like the design, interior space, and unbeatably low price. American manufacturers used to be great at that. Not so much in recent years.
Agreed. I can't believe the general public has been coerced into shopping for $40-50K priced cars anyway. What a financial strain on a budget, and let's face it, almost everyone is on a budget today! Most of that rise in pricing has to do with marketing to us the "need" for faster 0-60 times, combined with sexier appearances. Only the constant addition of safety features are truly justified increases to car costs, not including inflation.
My wife an I decided to not buy the Encore GX after seeing a friends '24 Trax, the iterior space is dern close, you lose about 1" of head room (4" vrs 5") for the closeto $6,000 price difference ... we're waiting for a Trax ... unless GM realizes the cost and reduces the Encore, I'd spend maybe $2K at the most to move up to the Buick. @@palebeachbum
I just bought a 2024 Trax 1RS and I absolutely love it. I went from a 2015 Cruze RS which I loved but the Trax is so much better. What I would really like to see in these review videos is less talk about how each trim looks and more about safety features, performance and gas mileage. The way the seats, dash and wheels look do not make any difference when I am trying to navigate through various driving situations.
I've had my Trax 2RS for 4 months and 7200 miles. I love it! I average 29 mpg and it feels sporty. I'm waiting to see how it is in NY Hudson Valley winter. But just love it so far. Thanks @Chevrolet
@@lazlo5971 it's been great! I'm still averaging 29 mpg but I've got a heavy foot. The Infotainment system is better and the Tire Pressure Monitor too. 12K miles and no real problems. I didn't get much snow here so that wasn't an issue.
LOVE LOVE LOVE how you showed all the trims in this video, I know not all manufacturers bring all trims to press events but I think it’s cool that GM brought them all. Looks nice, much better than the previous gen. I was initially very confused at the seemingly out of nowhere launch cause I thought the Trailblazer was the Trax’s replacement, but it’s starting to make sense as the Trax is less expensive.
I just test drove one Saturday and bought one today, waiting for delivery. I'm a Ford guy, wanted to buy a Maverick, yeah that's funny right. Well, since Ford raised the price and still dealers add "market adjustments"! So, I haven't bought a Chevy since 94. I got a 2RS Trax with Sunroof and Convenience packages, for $27k plus tax. It's that good a value and I'm a Ford guy.
I'm in the same boat still in July '24. Local dealers trying to push bottom trim Mavericks for $30k or more. Fully optioned Trax Activ is $24k. Hard to justify a $6k price difference just because I'd prefer a small truck over SUV.
Everyone keeps talking about horrible GM quality. GM actually has good reliability. I owned 3 Toyota’s over 20 years and they all had problems. My sister and aunt have Honda’s and they have problems. In 2015 I bought a Dodge Grand Caravan against everyone’s advice. It’s the best vehicle I have ever owned. My sisters 2015 CRV has been in for service multiple times a year. My Dodge has only been in for service 2 times. Both for a window regulator. My other sister has a Tahoe My brother , uncle and cousins all have Silverado’s. No major issues. The fact is most cars today are relatively reliable if you take care of them. Use good gas. Change the fluids on time and keep up with maintenance.
Mike, my dad bought buick regal 2012, never changed any part in the engine, I inherited it now with 265,000 miles and runs strung and very reliable, today's GM is very reliable and its American, not Japanese or Korean or Vietnamese.
That’s why it sucks that there’s no variety in reliability outside of the Japanese companies. There’s basically no competition because everyone else is so bad in reliability that it makes the Japanese do whatever they want with removing features and increasing prices. They know people will buy them because they are reliable, and everything else regardless of their additional features and lower costs will not be worth the long-term headaches for what they offer. Automakers really need to work on reliability otherwise we’re going to riot if Toyota becomes unaffordable with the way they’re increasing prices as of now.

Nice to see the platform as a FWD only to eliminate the AWD driveshaft tunnel and rear differential spacing. This allows for a spare tire & flat floor and lowers the center of gravity without having voids of space when choosing FWD on an AWD designed platform. Even in snow, AWD is not needed with FWD and good all season tires on plowed and maintained roads. Good review !
In that case, wouldn't a Chevy Cruze hatchback be better and offer superior aerodynamics and handling? Without AWD, the crossover SUV doesn't even have any pretence of being an off-road vehicle at all and thus seems superfluous compared to a Cruze hatchback!
How I wish Chevy still made an updated Sonic. I still have my nine-year old LTZ sedan with a 1.4 turbo and a six-speed manual. Remarkable headroom, front seat legroom, and huge trunk for a sub-compact that delivers 37mpg. Add four snow tires, it is a beast in snow, especially with the manual transmission. This seems like a worthy car.
Alex, For a moment I thought you were introducing us to a new Chevy Tracker which is fondly remembered as a cheap, compact, body-on-frame, GM/Suzuki, joint-venture 4X4 from yesteryear.🤩 Getting back to this present GM/Daewoo joint-venture, with low, low prices like this, it is remarkable that GM can still afford to pay Mary Barra $29,000,000 per year. 😉😉
@@scottbast3678 I've owned a Cavalier and Cruz. The Cruze did replace the Cobalt and Cavalier in function, I never saw the Cruze a spiritual replacement to the Cavalier. To me, the Cruze was more grown up and felt more like a replacement for a Corsica or Olds Alero. Edit I owned a 14 Cruze which formed the above opinion. The later body style was much closer to the Cavalier imo. The older Cruze sedans were remarkably comfortable for the price and could've been much less annoying to care for if GM took more care with the LUV engine.
@Greg Henry alero, grand am, malibu all the same. A little too big for the cruze size. I could see the corsica though, that being the cruze and sonic of its time with the cavalier. Either way, those are specifically what they were meant for in the compact car perspective. All well under $29,000 out the door.
I think it is dead on for what people want . it lokks great and seems like a great value . the only thing i dont like is the engine if it had a good 1.6 four i think you could get the same power and mpg with what i would think would be better long term reliability. I think this will be a huge hit for chevy . i like the buick version better ,the style is even more modern.
Number of cyl wont effect reliability IF they designed it well. Lots of high end Motorcycles use 3Cly engines.. and I had a Geo Metro a long time ago with a 1.0 Liter 3Cly.. Never had an issue. I beat the heck out of it every day... as a courier vehicle... I put 100,000 miles on it in ONE year. the 3 will be easier to service, and makes a WAY better sound than a 4. But it's GM.. so who knows if it will be reliable.. the engine is NOT new.. been in the Trailblazer for a couple years now.

I doubt GM will be able to keep up with demand for this. Timing it just as a recession looms and rates are high was luck, packaging it well will earn them sales. Never been a huge GM fan but this hits so well on all the bases, and Alex explaining the tradeoffs they took makes it all make a lot of sense.
Great review. I drove the LT version. It is lightweight, traveling at 60mph with winds at 40mph can be challenging. I love the infotainment system and 24:36 remote starter( you can start the car from your phone as well). Overall nice ride. Not the fastest- (definitely would love more power) but GM gives you a lot for the price. ❤
21:18 The 1RS doesn't get the 11.3" Infotainment. That comes with the LT and higher. It does have standard heated seats and steering wheel though which is nice.
I'm by no means a huge Chevy fan, but I'll give credit where credit is due. They did a great job with the styling. I have no complaints. It looks extremely roomy for this class of vehicle. That big back seat will translate to a big cargo area with the seat folded. The power seems adequate. For me, it's the seat-of-the-pants feeling behind the wheel that matters in daily driving, not the numbers on paper. Alex seems to think it's peppy, so that's promising. Fuel economy is on par with other vehicles in this class. My only real concern is reliability. I think the Trax is engineered by GM Korea (formerly Daewoo). If so, the only American aspect of it seems to be the Chevy badge. My only real gripe is that Chevy is offering the Trax in some very unique paint colors, mint green, yellow, and baby blue (not the official color names), but those colors are only offered on the 1RS and 2RS trims, so they are paired with the RS's red interior trim. That's going to clash horribly.
That 22.3mpg shown in the base model is quite a disappointment, I'm expecting a lot better fuel economy from a 3-cylinder engine, in a relatively lightweight car. Unless you really need the cargo space & practicality of a crossover/wagon, I think the Elantra is a better choice, due to its much higher fuel economy, faster acceleration, and better engine reliability (port-injection, naturally-aspirated).
This car is an incredible value overall and a great design. Nobody cares about the cargo cover I just stick it in the garage. As long as it is reliable, you have a winner here.
I sat in one yesterday, and at six foot it was refreshing to find I wasn't at the back of the seat travel, nor was my head into the headliner. I even sat in a Active w/sunroof and still had plenty of headroom. I also felt like the seatback has more bolstering than my Maverick, though the seats were a bit firmer; a plus compared to the feeling of those in the Maverick, too, which makes it almost too difficult to find comfortable spot in the seat. I'm looking forward to driving one to see how well they keep you in place as the seats in the Maverick require me to brace myself on on/off ramps as I tend to drive a bit more spirited.
A great small car with a fantastic base price. Would make a nice car for a new driver or just to drive to work and back. Decent array of options to give your something to fiddle with. Great review!
Alex, I still have those same shoes too. As far as the Trax, I love the styling and value, but would be concerned about reliability and resale. Given current economics, there's an audience for this...
One thing I would note - this is definitely from GM's parts bin. The 6 speed has been around for about a decade. The 3 cylinder engine has been out for a couple of years now. The electronics are from other GM vehicles. The key has been around forever. It is how they kept the price down as well. Also, it should make the vehicle more reliable in its first year since it is using proven tech.
GM Korea did a great job on the new Trax. One of the few vehicles that you can get for under $25K that you would actually want. In my area they are hard to find though. We recently bought a Trailblazer. There were no Trax or Trailblazers on the local lots. We bought the Trailblazer in transit (had experience with it so went that way). The dealership had 6 combined Trailblazer and Trax in transit already sold.
I have not liked the styling of a chevy vehicle for years, so call me biased, but wow! seeing this in the thumbnail! Up there with the crosstrek! so much better than the old trax but that is a low bar...
@@brandondalehixon4748we’re at 14,500 miles as of today. Only issue we’ve had was a software issue about 6 months in. Quick fix at the dealership. Screen and cluster would go black and come back on randomly. Still a great car!
Literally test drove one yesterday for my daughter. I completely felt that three cylinder turbo was way too jerky when you initially pushed the throttle…maybe it takes some getting used to, but it really threw me off so instead, bought a brand new Chevy Malibu with a four-cylinder turbo. I know they’re different vehicles, but the Malibu just felt so much better and it was at the same price point. Just so everybody knows the out the door price was $26,195.
Thanks for the awesome review. I found it very informative. I drove the 1RS with sunroof option, for a day and loved it! A little background in me, I am a car guy with a little Italian sports car I keep in a garage to drive on sunny days and have restored a few cars in my younger days. I really like the styling of this vehicle and I also really like the way it drives. It is pretty quick off the line and has plenty of upper range passing power. The six-speed transmission shifts quickly and smoothly. I am so glad they went with a regular transmission over a crappy CVT. I have to disagree with the reviewer in that I think 6-speed is plenty for this vehicle. I drove it around the city and also on the freeway for a bit. It handles great too. I was actually pretty blown away by this little SUV because I sure wasn't expecting to like it as much as I did. I am now actually considering buying a 2RS for my wife to replace her 2011 Volkswagen Golf TDI in that awesome light blue 🔵 color. The Golf TDI drives really well so for me to get away from a european-made car to one of these would be a big jump or so I thought before I took it for a ride. The 1RS that I drove was actually made in korea. I found the fit and finish to be quite nice. I do wish the sound quality of the stereo system was a tad it better though. I am a bit spoiled from the sound system in the Volkswagen TDI which sounds amazing. I work as a recording studio engineer and music producer. My wife doesn't really care much about sound systems and she definitely doesn't care about the way an engine sounds but with that being said, I really like the way the engine in this sounds, very sporty when you hammer the throttle and yes, I have a bit of a lead foot! It is a Chevy so I'm not sure how it will hold up over time but as a new car, I think it's a great deal for the price.
@@mattnorman5241You sure are a hater of general motors. Did you get fired from general motors because you couldn't handle the hard ass work? By the way you write, I would say you're jealous because you can't afford!
Only Chevy can put a 1.2 liter 3 cylinder engine in a car and have it only get 32 mpg on the hwy. If Toyota put a 1.2 liter engine in a car, it would get 75 mpg.😊
The 2.0 crosstrek is 34 mpg highway, the 2.5 that I’m driving today is 33. The key reason for the higher fuel economy in the Subaru is the CVT. Everything is a trade off, to get the sticker price lower GM had to give up some of the fuel saving tech found in more expensive GM vehicles
I test drove one recently, and it is so fun to drive. The interior is gorgeous. My only critique is the old-school antenna. It would look smoother if it had a sleek, shark fin, or rear window, integrated antenna.
This looks pretty good as a daily commuter car. I'll be interested to see what gas mileage you get with the tiny 1.2 engine. Interestingly the Buick version in China gets a 1.5 engine.
I recently read this engine uses a timing belt-in-oil setup -- too bad, I really wish it had a timing chain instead. You've been warned. Research the Ford Ecoboost 1.0 3 cylinder and how its belt-in-oil setup held up.
I don't know how they are able to put this product out there at this price in this economy. They have to be loosing money on this. Anyway, Kudos to Chevy
Yeah the rear styling is questionable. It looks like they started at the front with a lot of enthusiasm and by the time they got to the rear, they were bored and tired.
Rear looks good too, y’all just turned off by the taillights not being LED. Taillight housing can be more like Blazer EV and less quirky but the halogen element is the only thing that makes the rear feel less upscale than the front.
I'd prefer a N/A 4 cylinder (either a 1.8 or a 2.0) engine to the turbocharged 3 cylinder on these. You'll get pretty much the same power figures (or more), better fuel economy (theoretically), and better reliability.
If it had that I would be at the dealer tomorrow, such a shame. If I was only leasing, I wouldn't care but I am the type to keep the car as long as possible, so I want to last at least 20 years and I do not see that happening with that engine/turbo combo.
The LS model has a options package that includes 17" alu/wheels, heated seats, remote start, carpeted floor matts, body coloured outside mirrors ...... selling price about $22,500 ... I like the LS dash better ... gauges over lights anytime. The only things you give up are the rear usb's when you get down to it.
I have a 21 Chevy Spark which I'm happy with. The dealer is bombarding me with offers to get even futher into debt in one of these. I will say I like most of what I'm seeing. My only concern is with the concept of an inadequately sized motor with a turbo to compensate. Unless they're extremely well engineered and built it sounds like a problem waiting to happen. I personaly don't care a fig for AWD. Unless you live in severe snow and ice conditions I can see no use for it. I'm in Phoenix so frankly the only essential to me is arctic air conditioning.
I'm kinda all over the place on this. I want to hate it because I still haven't forgiven GM for the bailout. And, first year of a new GM product with a tiny turbo engine... What could possibly go wrong? But I kinda love it. This car checks a lot of boxes for me! (I'm still gonna wait til, at least the second model year though.)

@@Mgoblagulkablong Better at what? Being nosier, having expensive routine maintenance and clunkier infotainment? Our 2019 Legacy has a maintenance schedule that calls for about a 600 dollar service every 30K miles and I don't think any other Subaru with the 2.5L 4 would be much different. The new 2.5 boxer engine for this year in some Subarus is supposed to be quieter, thank goodness because Subaru's older engines idle about as smoothly as a tractor until they warm up. Our Cruze has been more fuel efficient, had no recalls (unlike the Subaru) and accelerates better and more quietly than our same year Legacy Limited. And the routine maintenance costs are about 30% less. I give Subaru credit for some things (EyeSight was probably one of the best advanced driver assistance systems years before others got it somewhat figured out) but we will not be likely to shop Subaru again.
Thank you for the video! I am shopping in this price segment and comparing this to the 2023 Crosstrek and Civic Hatch. Both are available with a manual, which is a huge draw for me. Crosstrek has less cargo space, a big concern. It also does not have ACC or auto brake hold. Civic is perfect for me because it has more cargo space and ACC/auto brake hold are standard with manual gearbox. The new Trax is an intriguing option because for the same $26k you get far more equipment: sunroof, heated seats/steering wheel/mirrors, ACC, etc. I suspect the new Buick Envista will be even better in terms of style/comfort.

I have no problem driving it in between other cars, it fit perfectly well. We consider average 10 or 12 seconds 0-60 time for normal cars. My fun, real car and still a four doors sedan, is a Giulia AWD that goes 0-62 in an astonishing little bit less then 5,5 seconds about the same time of a white Ferrari Testarossa used in original Miami Vice starred by Dan Johnson, but it cost to me around 50k MSRP so half price for a new similar capable car, except fun, performance and Alfa Romeo allure (better interior too 😊), it's quite a deal to me.
I know this may be asking a lot, but it would be great if you were able to start including some dimensions like depth and width of the cargo area. Even something like how high the seats are off the ground. As someone who recently has to consider transporting a wheelchair. Those kind of measurements would be awesome!

Dang @laurynjaneai858 the one thing you said disappointing was that stupid start/stop feature. I hate that.
@@cashonly6117 yes same, even if your willing to turn it off every single time it means you should never buy used as who knows if the previous owner was leaving it on.
You can easily override the start stop feature. Just disconnect a small fuse at the battery terminal. That will disable it.👍
I just bought the Trex LT the sticker had $25,700 then with the front tint, wheel locks, and other things added, push the price to $27 thousand and some change. Not including tax. For some reason, the prices are higher in Tennessee along with Tennessee high taxes smh. Mississippi was selling them as soon as they hit the lot. Nice car but I over paid for it.
How many miles does it have in it now?? Have you had any big issues with it? Thanks.
Hey, not everybody can afford a vehicle that's in the 40 to 80 grand price range. I think this vehicle is a massive success for Chevrolet......
What’s passing power like? I quite like the Trailblazer, but am curious about that, and highway noise.
2024 Subaru Impreza is probably a better option for most people.

I didn't get much snow here so that wasn't an issue.
wonderfully comprehensive while not being verbose! Takes real talent! Awesome as always, Alex!
Imagin if Chevy has added a high Country trim that'll be good.
No, the Trax is the equivalent to the Buick Encore. The Trailblazer is the equivalent to the Encore GX, which is slightly larger.

My other sister has a Tahoe
My brother , uncle and cousins all have Silverado’s.
No major issues.
The fact is most cars today are relatively reliable if you take care of them.
Use good gas. Change the fluids on time and keep up with maintenance.
It is basically a Daewoo. Built in Korea. GM Korea is in fact Daewoo. GM bought the company years ago.
Ya see here, this would be an absolute winner in the subcompact if people…. Trusted GMs reliability
And this is the whole problem. If they put in a regular 4 cylinder, I could see this thing being a great, reliable commuter car.

Awd does not automatically mean a big transmission tunnel. Awd '13-'18 Rav4 got almost a rear center flat floor
AWD is just stupid. FWD gets through most snows without the added complexity.
In that case, wouldn't a Chevy Cruze hatchback be better and offer superior aerodynamics and handling? Without AWD, the crossover SUV doesn't even have any pretence of being an off-road vehicle at all and thus seems superfluous compared to a Cruze hatchback!
@@TassieLorenzo The Cruze has been discontinued in the US a while ago. Last model year was 2019.
I have driven the LS trim since July and I love it. Great car for the price.
Alex, For a moment I thought you were introducing us to a new Chevy Tracker which is fondly remembered as a cheap, compact, body-on-frame, GM/Suzuki, joint-venture 4X4 from

Dare I say this is the spiritual successor to the Cavalier? Low price, practical, with some flashy trims.
And then the cobalt, the cruze, and now this. Yes
And they killed off the Bolt

One of the best auto reviewers out there. My wife is trading her 4XE Rubicon on a Trax Activ.

A tiny turbo charged engine sounds like a recipe for expensive repairs WHEN the GM designed reliably issues start popping off
That 22.3mpg shown in the base model is quite a disappointment, I'm expecting a lot better fuel economy from a 3-cylinder engine, in a relatively lightweight car.
Unless you really need the cargo space & practicality of a crossover/wagon, I think the Elantra is a better choice, due to its much higher fuel economy, faster acceleration, and better engine reliability (port-injection, naturally-aspirated).
Wouldn't put any stock in what mpg is shown in the video. Test cars idle a lot.

That's only less than 5 miles of driving. You would need to drive for 100 miles distance to get actual, average MPG number.

This car is an incredible value overall and a great design. Nobody cares about the cargo cover I just stick it in the garage. As long as it is reliable, you have a winner here.
“As long as it’s reliable”. Lol. It’s a Chevy trax! Lol
Why would you stick it in the garbage.???

The same can be said for the Honda HRV and Toyota Corolla Cross. Carryover engines, transmissions, interior switchgear, etc.

Trax is not bad for 3 cylinders, but Malibu is better in terms of smoothness of the low RPM and ride balance.
Interesting. Seems to have a lot of positives going for it. But with GM, it makes me wonder what the tradeoffs will be.

Only Chevy can put a 1.2 liter 3 cylinder engine in a car and have it only get 32 mpg on the hwy. If Toyota put a 1.2 liter engine in a car, it would get 75 mpg.😊
I came here to say the same thing. The much larger RAV4 with a 2.5 gets 34-35, depending on trim level, and is quicker.
Toyota used to put 1.2 liter into CH-R and it got 39 mpg combined. Better than this Chevy but nowhere near 75 mpg. That's an absurd number.

A Subaru Crosstrek with awd and a 2.5 liter 4 cylinder gets 34 mpg.

If it had that I would be at the dealer tomorrow, such a shame. If I was only leasing, I wouldn't care but I am the type to keep the car as long as possible, so I want to last at least 20 years and I do not see that happening with that engine/turbo combo.

Excellent review, but GM makes trash lol
people dont want to believe gm makes trash that why they poor
Give the people what they want and they will buy it!
I wouldn't want to own that thing after the warranty is up!
dont buy it new or used
Dave in Canada, we own a GM product from 2012, 265000 miles never changed anything in engine running strong .
@@sublimegreen its worth nothing now
@@mattnorman5241 what's worth nothing? Assume design or best in class many considering it the "Corvette in its class".
@@mattnorman5241 What do u drive?
I'm kinda all over the place on this. I want to hate it because I still haven't forgiven GM for the bailout. And, first year of a new GM product with a tiny turbo engine... What could possibly go wrong? But I kinda love it. This car checks a lot of boxes for me! (I'm still gonna wait til, at least the second model year though.)
better get a Subaru Impreza / Crosstreck or Mazda CX-30 instead, more reliable / durable
Perhaps, but also 30-50% more expensive…
Those cost thousands more. They should be better.
@@AAutoBuyersGuide They start at $24k, $3k difference at $21k is ~15%, not 30-50...
Their higher resale value will make up for the price difference.
For $21k I'd rather get a Kia Soul with a 2.0 engine.
@@palebeachbum they ARE much better...
Seat folded, the '23 Crosstrek has 55 cubic inches of cargo space, one more than this Chevy
Stay away from any gm or chevy pruducts 😢
Stay away from illiterates.
I definitely have some strong reservations about any GM product. That said, I like the new Chevy Trax and Equinox designs.
That’s ridiculous. They are made in Korea and have similar build quality to those competitors. Learn before you post
Outstanding review Alex, very impressive. 🙏👍
This is a piece of trash. Hardly worth $13k
exactly but poor people will defend and say it a good deal then be in the repair shop crying
great vehicle, if you want don't want it designed or assembled in USA. nobody checks VIN's to see where they come from....ford, gm and dum dum stalantis either....
@@mattnorman5241You sure seem to be obsessed about the word poor. Relax, things will get financially better for, alittle bit of hard, less of a negative attitude, you're on your way!
Seems like an excellent choice in vehicle transport, for many months to come.
Me like. 😎 & I prefer the analog instrument cluster .
I just traded in my renegade for this, I only used 4x4 once so don’t really need it. I do live in snow but I never have a problem with fwd. didn’t want to upgrade to the trail blazer. Anyways the renegrade that I had was junk so many problems. Hopefully this is better
Great small suv! Best value out there. GM has a winner!
They will make good rental cars. Price is good also.

I was not wondering that actually. That’s a really smart idea. I’m sure Chevy never thought about it either, until hopefully this video.🤞🏻
I agree though, I hate that style cover. I prefer retractable cargo covers for convenience.
Awesome job with my favorite SUV friend.
I saw this car parking at Costco. It is a beautiful car!
Yellow is my favorite interior color for vents.
In Roma (Italy) you have to fight to find a parking space, so I have a Smart from 2003 years with a 0,8 litre 3 cylinders turbo diesel engine having an output of 41 horsepower and a flashing 21 seconds 0-60 time with 150,000 miles on.
That was one of the best reviews I've seen. keep up the great work👍🏻👍🏻
Great review.. thanks Alex👍🏿
I know this may be asking a lot, but it would be great if you were able to start including some dimensions like depth and width of the cargo area. Even something like how high the seats are off the ground. As someone who recently has to consider transporting a wheelchair. Those kind of measurements would be awesome!
I find it 🎉very odd that only the German Autogefühl channel (in English, btw) does that.
Excellent talk love the Trax I now own one rs
Go American made. Sorry for the multiple comments. I’m just pumped that your review is praising the handling so much. I need another vehicle and definitely will be test during one soon. Thank you for all you do.
Sean, I agree with u we have 2012 buick regal and 265000 miles never changed anything in drivestain.
These people all bash American cars, they should go live in Japan or Korea..lol.
@@sublimegreen Can’t agree more.
These are made in South Korea.
@@internetidiotreloaded9233 There’s a big difference being made somewhere with global materials shipped in to a brand using the materials made in there country.
@@seankadar9550 The Trax has an engine built in Mexico, a transmission built in South Korea, with final assembly taking place in South Korea.
The percentage of American or Canadian parts in this car is 3%. (I'm quoting this right from the window sticker)
The only Americans making money from this car are the GM Executives.
Has to win the award for most improved vehicle for the 2024 MY, at least, it certainly is to this point!
not a by a long shot
@@mattnorman5241 so whats more improved than this?
It’s probably good for 75k mile life span.
I like the looks, I like the price. But will it hold up over time.???
Or do I need to buy a RAV4.???
