I guess in this series, susano-o become futher corrupted with orochi and make him become more evil. He is technically achieving Izanami's dream, which is his mother dream.

After realizing his own existence, Susano'o grew to despise Amaterasu for binding him to her will. He really wants his freedom above all else. In my own canon, he went to the Earth while he was supposed to be protecting Amaterasu with the Tsukuyomi, and did exactly as the Japanese myth said. He killed Orochi and was wed with Kushinada-hime, but Amaterasu wasn't so happy with that, and as a result, Kushinada was erased from existence. From that point, Susano'o grew to hate his "big sister". But that's just my head-canon.
Spoiler Alert: Terumi "Kills" Hakumen, takes over his body and then Susanoo is born. Also *SPOILER ALERT FOR ENDING* Ragna Pulls Terumi out of the Susanoo unit with the help of Trinity. Hakumen is alive again, pulls out a golden sword out of his ass, then cuts through Terumi and Ragna and they fight on the stage "Blue". I'm half sure and half joking that, that is Hakumen's mind. Afterwards, Hakumen no longer exists because the bad end that created him isn't a thing anymore.
