Thanks for the mention! I understand that Pam's HarvestCraft 2 can be a lot of food and options, and isn't for everyone. I do really hope that you try my newest Food Core that I just released just to see the new 150+ textures I've made for it! Keep on farming! :)
Can you try to get every crop to have at least 3 uses(other than making it into the seed)? Its kinda annoying that some of them arent even that useful :(
New textures, cool. Are you sticking with the "programmer art" style? (its a classic Minecraft texture pack, its why you can tell the difference between a lot of classic mods and new ones)
This is how all mod showcase videos should be: short, sweet, and includes at least some information about which modloader(s) and versions of the base game each mod is available for.
I generally prefer Pam's Harvestcraft over Farmer's Delight. While some people find it a little overwhelming, I find the sheer amount of variety is amazing to play with.
These mods are cool, I played with them a while ago, but yeah I think there are too much stuff, and they lack of good finishing (I got a lot of missing textures, and each crop hasn't a lot in particular). On the other hand, Farmer's Delight has less content but is overall better imo
As someone who has spent her entire minecraft playing experience trying to find a good cooking mod, this was everything. Thank you Pam's has always held my heart and I'll probably end up continuing to use it. But like that vinery mod looks so fun
@@generationz-d9c Honestly? I don't know. I'm not the most tech literate gamer. Usually, if I am really itching for playing with it, I just use older versions of the game.
satisfy (the author of Vinery mod) also done few another authentic mods you must check out! The list are: - Beachparty (adds beaches, palm trees, cocktails, ice cream and summer-style furniture and vanity) - Candlelight (adds restaurant type furniture, food, and cooking stations, with new (but oddly familiar crops) as well) - Meadow (explore to find meadow biome, get some alpine salt, cheese and such. Adds new variations of mobs as well) - Bakery (everything about bread, pies, cakes and jam!) Next few mods are somewhat new, compare to listed before: - Herbal Brews (time to make some tea and brew few potion flasks. In witch style) - Brewery (all about beer and german-style food!.. You can even fight beer spirit on it) - Blooming Nature (change vanilla biomes and adds new things - mobs, plants and blocks) His mods are charming, and fits to vanilla style pretty well (in my unnecessary opinion). But i hope you'll like it!
I would love to one day make a compatibility mod that fuses Let’s Do and Delight together! Being able to add wines to recipes for stews and such would be a dream!
Thanks for mentioning Cultural Delights! I'm making a server and I had Corn Delight, but then I moved to fabric, so I couldn't have corn anymore The additional sushi stuff is awesome too Edit: Just found out that Corn Delight is available for fabric 1.20.1, just that it wasn't on Modrinth, I'll still use Cultural Delights, though, it fits better with the theme of my server anyways
These are all wonderful mods, but one of my favorites not listed here is Croptopia. It not only adds in huge variety of crops and fruit trees but they're biome specific which gives me an excuse to go exploring.
For later viewers, [lets do] Bakery is a great mod to, it gives you ovens just like Farmer's delight, and you can craft cakes and bread! It is only for forge, if you are using fabric.
I recommend adding serene seasons mod to this, that mod is so good because it gives different plants different grow time and Minecraft Comes Alive to give that Harvest Moon/Stardew dating
A big mod trio i loved to work with the most was pams, botania, and growthcraft. Growthcraft was a great mod bundle that added a whole bunch of small crps and adding brewing and winemaking, cooking options and other things i most likely forgot. Im big with farms and farming in minecraft. Its always a goal to have automated crop farms for all types of foods, so this list is great! Thank you!
Thank you so much for this list of different mods! Half of these I took into my own collection of mods straight from your original video - and had so much fun with them!
im so glad you made this! i love the farming and cooking aspect of the game but it doesn’t usually get enough attention in my opinion so this definitely makes me happy :,)
Cooking for Blockheads also has a sister mod, Farming for Blockheads, which adds automation for breeding and has a market you can buy seeds from! (including modded crops) I love Pam's as well but I agree it can be very overwhelming so an alternative I like to use is Croptopia :)
every time I see a sniff upload, it brings me so much joy! I find them so relaxing to watch while doing homework or playing Minecraft myself! love you sniff 💗
Pam's Harvestcraft is the first mod I ever used for Minecraft, and remains my favorite to this day! It's incredibly detailed, realistic, and well made. The variety is amazing.
Peeeerfect: I was planning to initiate a "culinary collection challenge" on a modded world, and needed to find out what mods are gonna be the best for that out there. Cheers!
Let's do! is really cool series of different cooking and decor mods, allowing you to brew beer, make cheese and many more, highly recommend looking into them, if you want something beautiful as Farmers Delight, but in smaller packages and with narrower themes.
This is by far the best farming mods review/tier list I have ever seen! The vibes were chill all along and I didn’t feel bored at any point, keep up the good work!
appreciate you sooo much for all the hard work you put into this video. Seeing the update frame for the files (I hoping im wording that right) with the 1.19-1.20 saved me sooo much time.
You are amazing for uploading this!! I've been looking all over the internet for fun farming mods to add to my game, but this video has made it so much easier!! You're truly the best
One food mod that I love (and miss) is Vanilla Food Pantry. It's far from perfect, but it's all built on the idea of only using plants and mobs from the base game. I want to take a shot at the same idea, but with a more rustic vibe to the food.
I LOVE farming mods, despite my love for adventuring and defeating mobs farming and cooking are my absolutely specialty’s of mine, I love just chilling and cooking
great vid! helped me find some new mods, the astikorcarts mod pares really well with the swem equine mod that upgrades your horses and those 2 mods are great for bigger farms or worlds for exploration!
As a shadowcadet (a fan of LDShadowLady) I must say that Pam's Harvest craft holds a very dear place in my heart. It has amazing recipes, even aebleskivers, a Danish dish that is similar to pancakes, but in a ball shape. It even has fantastic farming mechanics, where you either find gardens for ground crops, and trees for ones grown in trees. There are also plenty of crops that can be used for other things. Like jute and cotton can be made into string, there's a tree that grows string as well, and bananas or avocados can be used as egg substitutes. You can make milk from almonds or other things as well. Its advanced a lot since shadow craft, and is very realistic now. It's quite the mod to add to your world, and pairs well with ¿appleskin? Which tells you details about food.
Croptopia has a Farmer's Delight compat. I'm unsure if that means it uses all of its immersive cooking tools, but if so that'd pretty much fix my reason for wanting Farmer's Delight over the others.
i use two mods that might belong here: 1) serilum's "realistic bees" makes bees smaller and makes more fit into one hive block; both ratios are configurable. 2) not necessary if you play alone, but "cook your food" mod is a good thing if you have younger players.
Found this video while looking for Farming Mods for a pack I'm making ^_^ It's just one for me to play myself but I love how you gave a lot of great options! I've added a lot of the ones you talked about and am looking forward to playing it =D
As a little kid I remember watching zookeeper seri play and I was so jelous she could play modded minecraft, but now I do so.... it worked out and I remember loving the one mod she playyed with it was pam's harvest craft.
was like five minutes in and out loud went OH MY GOD ITS SNIFF!!!!! i havent seen snifferish content in so long i forgot how much i love your content 😭😭
I was playing an industrial revolution modpack made by Sbeev and it had the animania mod, where it gave the farm animals a whole lot more depth with adding proper genders, animal behaviors, and realistic systems to take care of the animalsl. (edit: mod creator and the team are working on updating the mod to newer versions)
For those who dont have compatibility in other mods for WAILA and that other one, i found Jade to have the exact same function, and if you have animals will also tell you how long until they can be bred again + how long until your baby animals will grow.
What goes best with the Create Mod? I want to have the most "vanilla"-ish modded playthrough and I'm curious on what farming/food mod would work best with Create
I really like your list, and discovered some new mods that I'd like to use in my pack. Just wanted to drop some thoughts: I make my modpacks in such a way that they're multiplayer friendly. And the result of me *not* using SB in my server packs is generally that the servers last longer and people get less burnt out as quickly. I wish I formally studied and took notes on this phenomenon, but all I have is my anecdote. I like Sophisticated Backpacks but just like PepperFly's (mod author) other mods (Iron Chests, etc.) it can be very easily abused because it doesn't respect or synergize with the fundamentals of Minecraft's vanilla storage system. OG Pam’s HarvestCraft was the best. Soybeans were so broken. U could make the Thanksgiving Dinner with only 4 crops (and yellow dye). Soybeans, corn, cranberries, and sweet potatoes if I remember correctly
I'd love to see something like this for animal mods. I can really go in-depth with farming in 1.18.2+, but if I want to get a more in-depth animal interaction I have to go back to 1.12.2 or earlier. I'd love to see some stuff ala Realistic Horse Genetics but for other mobs, more stuff oriented around mobs like cows, chicken, sheep - goats would be great! Ducks! Stuff for like... ranching, I guess, if farming is crops.

And the result of me *not* using SB in my server packs is generally that the servers last longer and people get less burnt out as quickly.
