I hope it'll get easier over time and I need all the luck/ prayers for now lol

I'm excited to see what the esk8 world has in store for us this year and I hope that I'll be skilled enough by the end of this year so that I can start doing some first impressions of high performance boards like I do with bikes/ scooters!
doing some joyride videos on the esk8 (or even the Nami or Super) and through/by some historical landmarks throughout the area would be cool to watch. for those that dont or have never been to NYC and surrounding areas, I think it would be a cool perspective to see some history that way.
thanks for joining us on this ride! That's actually one of the video ideas that I hope to do in the future. Most of my content is still recorded to and from work because my work schedule is quite hectic, but my goal is to add diversity to the sights and content if I can get more free time to make videos outside of work!
The camera angles make it look like this is from a skate game :D Your e scooter videos are also inspiring me to get my own electric scooter, and try irl streaming while riding it 💙
thanks for joining us for this ride and welcome to the channel! That was the goal of the camera angles! I wanted it to feel like we were going through a "GTA/ Tony Hawk" style ride through the city lol. I think its a fun way to experience the video and a nice contrast to the POV we do on the ebike and scooter. That's awesome, I'm glad that I could inspire you to try PEVs! The live is something that I've always wanted to do but something that I have to plan out since it'll require a different setup from what I normally do
Yeah, I know exactly how you feel. I'm pretty new to eskate too and I've never skated as a kid either so being 35 years old and picking up an electric skateboard for the first time is nerve wracking for me. One tip with loosening the trucks. A lot of people will tell you to loosen the front truck while keeping the rear tighter to help with turning while still maintaining stability. Although this is primarily accurate, it only works to a certain extent. If you loosen the front almost all the way but keep the rear super tight, this will make the rear wheel lift up when making certain turns. This is because the front will lean but the rear is too stiff and won't lean, so therefore when you put more weight to make that turn, it can lift up the rear wheel. I only have my rear truck a little bit tighter than my front. Don't have the rear and front too different since that leads to instability.
thanks for joining us on this ride to Brooklyn and welcome to the channel BN9! first, congrats on picking up riding an eboard, it's definitely alot of fun despite the initial fear. Thanks for the tip, I think that's something that people don't really tell you lol. I had to learn that the hard way. I almost wiped out because the difference in the front and rear trucks was too great. Now, I have the front and rear separated by 3/4ths of a turn and I found the perfect sweet spot of maneuverability at low speeds and stability at high speeds. I wish I could ride with much looser trucks but there's a certain speed that I have to maintain in order to keep up with traffic on the bike lanes.
@@BN99239 same lol. I think sub 25mph is the sweet spot for city riding. It allows you to enjoy the ride comfortably, relax, carve a bit, and still keep up with traffic

thanks for joining us for the ride and welcome back to the comments section! As I get better, I'll continue to loosen the trucks even more so that I can take advantage of the DKP. Ive been told that my DKP should be much more maneuverable but I keep them tighter since I generally have to ride a higher speeds in the city. Last time I tried looser trucks, I almost lost control on a speed wobble lol. I hope to be more comfortable on the board by the end of the year 🙏🏼. Thanks for the feeback btw! I'll try to bend my knees more but its tough for me since I have problems with mobility because of my years in football and Muay Thai lol. I'll have to do my own physical therapy at home to help with the mobility lol. In the future, when I'm doing more than 1 video per week, we'll see more of the individual PEVs.
