- Will a £45 Bluetooth OBD Reader scan my 2011 4.4 TDV8?
The answer is yes, it'll actually ready every module, provide tips of how to diagnose/fix and offer up the relevant live data... Plus allow you to log/graph live data and revisit as and when you'd like....
Very impressed with this cheap little tool, especially for working on a notoriously difficult car to diagnose! This is no replacement for OE level diagnostics/recoding/adaptations/calibration, but it is a fantastic tool to keep with you/own if you don't own something similar that's 10x the price!

Thank you for watching, feel free to pop back on the many previous L322 videos, like and subscribe for more!
You're doing too good a job mate. They are now £71 on the link supplied!!! You need commission!
Just bought for my l322 sc £51 through Amazon with an extra 20% discount great !
So to avoid me keeping the GAP IID in the car RR TDV8 2011 , would you recommend leaving this in the glovebox and using it for those pesky fault codes , "like water in fuel filter"??cheers
Without a doubt, It's no IID replacement, but if you're not keen on leaving your IID in the glovebox, this would certainly be handy to
That's not a bad tool seeing you can use it on a variety of cars as well as on the L322 !
I have a Gap IID but it doesn't do other cars.
Yes, it's no replacement but a handy tool to own
I bit the bullet and bought an Otofix D1 lite. I don't have an RR to try it on, but from looking at it, it appears to cover most things an owner would want, more importantly It's Bi- directional. Shows it's capable of calibration of suspension, steering angle, brake bleeding, transfer box, keys and a lot more. I got it for £256. Updates are free for 2 years then $119, but updates are not required for it to continue to function fully. Very impressed so far
Excellent, thanks for letting us all know
@@RoughRestos Beware - I just got one myself and tried it on a 2017 Range Rover and it can't do any of the DPF functions even though their website says it can. It says "not supported" as soon as you try. I was using land rover image 1.42 software on it.
Bought the ediag it's great. Does not do the bin lookup on every vehicle particularly aussie Holdens. But can do cylinder power balance, misfire, a heap of body and engine functions.
Another great video and thank God I sold up a few years ago and I don't miss it . Happy New Year to you and all your family .🤟
Happy new year! I love it, but sometimes it does get frustrating :)
Just to let you know your link is to a price of £71 inc 5% discount, did you get it from another source
Nope it was £45 on Amazon the other day, it can also be bought from eBay and so on
There was a £20 against that price - I ordered it
Super huge thnx - just ordered one for my RR as well
Excellent, handy tool to have!
Does anyone know if this can read the FBH fault codes? Or any alternative to the IID to do so?
Does it allow any programming on the L322 2010 on, of the Air suspension, calibration etc? Adaptive damping etc?
Not on this one, slightly too cheap for that. I'm trying to find out if a cost-effective one exists that rivals the typical GAP IID and so on
@@RoughRestos have you tried the Land Rover SSD diagnostics as a comparison with the GAP IID?
No bidirectional, no ecu coding and no active tests and only 2 special functions, according to the Amazon page for the ediag mini
Up to 15 special functions, need to be purchased though. and yes it cannot do ecu coding/adaptations. It was £45, how many diagnostic tools at that price can actually pull any useful data from a Range Rover? can't compare it to a near £500 tool.
I'm trying to find a budget option that will allow people to reset/calibrate the suspension currently
@@RoughRestos does this allow me to reset simple fault codes? For example I put 2012 taillights in my 02 and I'm getting the 'check rear light" because I used them before installing the circuit board to make them work so I just need to clear the fault code from the cars memory as the lights are fine now so does that work for the purpose of clearing warnings?

Otofix D1 Lite £230 on ebay
