These lessons are an excellent and thought provoking discussion with a heavy dose of patriotism
This particular series helps to me understand Malcolm X when he famously gave “The Ballot or The Bullet” speech. I’ve been learning from these Course Lessons for a few years, and I’m still learning.
I love that he uses the Socratic method of teaching. Brilliant series.

Ballots replace Bullets...contemplate that simple statement yet complex reality that Dr. Arnn pointed out. Hillsdale is a superior educational institute, I call it “big brain boot camp”.
Only when counted truthfully and legally which rarely happen these days. With Legal citizens voting ONCE. With fair election processes.

Believe the term for that is "College." Education was always intended to foster critical thinking skills, it's just that it fails at doing so in our time.
Voting in America today is consenting to outlaw government. For those that think the DoI, Art of Confed and Northwest Ordinance are not "law", please explain why you think they were published in the U.S. Code, in the past, as "The Organic Laws of the United States". Of course, our current outlaw government doesn't want them considered as FOUNDATIONAL LAW so they've stopped publishing them in the Code, I believe; but, that in no way discredits them because they, along with the Bible of course, constitute the foundation of the Constitution.
Ballots make a country, country is ; history,patriotism, independence wars,ending of plantations,secure borders,hereos,veterans,children, people's rights,faith,freedom speech, independent economic, architecture, language,teaching at schools,follow the law , Constitution and the rule of laws.
How far we have fallen.
And how much further will we fall?
We CAN get it back. Relearn this and take America back
It's a shame that our culture seeks to undo such accomplishments.

It lets people know that the Democrats have done the most to back the Constitution and provide the American public with the freedoms afforded by it. Thanks again.

picked students knew Madison was from Virginia. I love this series but that ritual which Prof. Arnn so venerates, the peaceful transition of power and the acceptance of election results by the losers of the election, was dangerously threatened, especially on 1/6/21, by the candidate Prof. Arnn energetically supported, Donald Trump. Thank God for VP Pence and the crucial advice given him by the very conservative Judge Michael Luttig.

I absolutely love this series. However... I am getting tired of the professor referencing how all men are equal without mentioning the glaring elephant in the room of slavery and African slave ownership.
To go further, in this episode he mentions how an untrained American colonies under George Washington had no idea how to fight. Yet they somehow managed to win the war against Britain. All he says is that over time "they got better." I feel there's a glaring easy one sentence omission of how native Americans taught American soldiers guerilla warfare tactics. And THAT is how American won. Britain would line up row after row in toy soldier fashion and our guys hid behind trees and shot them. (Fighting techniques courtesy of native Americans who get no mention)
It's a great series but it's a little "whitewashed".
Get outta here trolling with that critical race garbage. Go educate yourself on something other than toxic criticism. Instead, try asking "why" and search history for answers.
@@mattk6719 can you simply answer the question how "all men are created equal" yet enslavement of ONLY Black men was allowed for 246 years? The professor bases this on the fact that humans are the only creatures that possess speech... Making ALL humans equal.) So it is a simple question. No critical race theory required. If human speech equates equality as he indicated in His "Lesson Three: Freedom and Equality" it is worth noting that Blacks WERE left OUT Of that evaluation. And therefore, 250 yrs of history were also left OUT of this video edit (I find it hard to believe some student wouldn't have pointed slavery out but perhaps it was cut.)
Lastly, Sir, this is an academic video forum. Civil, open discussion of ideas allowed. Preferable using intelligent, non violent language. Please reread the 1st Amendment for a refresher.
If people could simply answer questions and address the issues, there be no need to throw "labels" (like critical race) as if a label has now done your fighting/ debating for you.
@@darlynegoo4251 read Exodus.....slavery was around long before our Constitution. ......this world is a fallen place, but it was outlawed in this new country. We are the youngest country in the world that got that right.....progress for sure.
I also enjoy this series. My take on the slavery issue is that the "all men are created equal " is a statement of an ideal that they were not up to pursuing before actually establishing a new form of government. It was such a difficult thing to pursue that it took our one and only civil war to tackle it to completion some 60years later and I think you know it is still not completely wiped out here in the US yet. I think our form of government is open-ended in that we seem to zig-zag to success --our current immigration situation demonstrates that imo.
My opinion is that history demonstrates the one thing we seem to excel at--how to make people miserable or dead. The founding fathers were trying to get us to a different place establish a more perfect union--a work in progress to this day. Great series to help us see what giant steps they took in spite of the beliefs and practices of their time--i hope we do as well.
