I live in U.S.A. and have supposed ruby and sapphire samples I have collected in mountains of North Georgia but they are opaque. They do fluoresce under black light flash light, bright pink or bluish but is not in a clear crystalline form. What can be done with these if not gem quality other than to enjoy as specimens? I also have rope garnet, some fairly large and many, many other gems. Some gems are small, oval clear stones, others are irregularly shaped, more flat and have " steps " . I also collect common agates and pulled one out of a river, similar to a large pebble shape , yellowish gold, transparent, weighing 4 1/2 pounds. Most are much smaller, clear, yellow, gold, brownish to charcoal color but all translucent to transparent. Always enjoy your videos. Thanks.

How many gem quality sapphires have been found in Ontario? Do you know where I can find information on it?

9:00 That.. is an amazing Star Sapphire. Look at how much Rutile/Titanium Dioxide is in it! The top of the crystal is almost gold! I want that so bad, I want to make a necklace out of it
