- A quick (and silent) rundown of my personal favorite 35mm point and shoot, the Ricoh GR1s.
I run through some quick specs and then showcase a few of my favorite shots from this camera all shot on a mixture of Portra 160, Portra 400, Portra 800 and Natura 1600 (my favorite film stock)
Video:
Fujifilm XT-4
Fujinon 16mm 1.4
Fujinon 35mm 1.4

Bro, I’ve seen many “empty” talking head videos about this camera but you are the one who really understands what photographers are looking for - pictures! We want to see what the camera sees and you made it perfect. Good review mate.
this video needs more views!! i love the cinematic feeling and the images from the camera came out amazing😍
thank you! Truly means a lot
Finally someone in the current film community mentions the ricoh line. Love my GR1V
Is really nice for video?
What a beautiful and calm video, such a breeze of fresh air here on TH-cam!
Thank you!!
These shots are brilliant.
The scans from these are beautiful. Deciding between this and the 28ti.
What did you end up getting? Just got the 35ti myself.
Thank you for the review. Because of this video I just purchased a Fujifilm xt-4.
I am back a month later, enjoyed this video... again!

This is excellent, thanks for the overview.
Truly appreciate it, no problem at all
Enjoyed this video! Thanks
Beautiful video, great shots and composition! I have been wanting this camera for a while now, but prices have risen sooo much. Finding one with a working - or at least readable - LCD under $1000 is almost impossible. How is your experience with yours regarding durability? Is the LCD still working 3 years later? I am also considering the Fuji Klasse W. Cheers
This video is excellently made and put together
You’ve convinced me to purchase this camera. Thank you 🙏🏼

Great video, thanks! The camera seems to handle difficult lighting situations really well. I might have to pick one up.

does it have a red eye reduction mode?

i have the cheaper r1s. small and light. i love it aside from the faulty screen.
