Denise Alexander was real a soap queen to walk into this role and was a great matriarch. I don't think they had enough room on the cast roster to give her acting opportunities she was capable of. She was a great Mary!
The show did that 7 years earlier when the soap went to 90 minutes. And then cut BACK to 60 minutes letting half of the cast go. Like Miranda Bishop !! 😂😂
I believe the former head writer of Days of Lives was in charge. That style just never seemed to fit Another World after years of Harding Lemay's stories.
@jockboy The storyline seem to be subpar for another world..Especially Now with The departure of Tom Eplin and Ellen Wheeler..Not up to Harding Lemay standards !!
