@stgyoungfrizzle - tuning is required to delete the egr yes. Ive personal never delete the ccv filter before tuning but there is no sensors on the 2020+ models so I imagine it wouldn't notice
I’ve got a 2020 also.. wanting to delete but probably going to wait until warranty is up. How is it holding up so far? All I’ve done to mine is upgraded cold side pipe and S&S disaster prevention kit.. putting the HS Motorsport upgraded secondary fuel filter on this weekend!
How is the transmission holding up? Everything I read indicates they don't like any additional power. With the 625hp (+150hp) AMDP tune that's going to be testing it. Did you get AMDP transmission tunes, if so what do you think about them.

They never asked me rumble vs hiss idle...I'm not picky, I'd just like to know what to expect. I have emailed them twice over the last week, still no response. I'm a bit disappointed in that customer service. I ordered the tuner box so I don't have to remove the ECM. I'm tracking the shipment...it's about a week away.
When you did the delete it doesn’t appear you unplugged the EGR from the ecm. Are you not supposed to do that on the 2020 models. I’m trying to learn before doing
I could see with not having the egr cooler there, noises can make it through easily, but its not bad, cant tell when driving. Removing the egr cooler doesnt really effect fuel mileage. The Engine tuning is what effects fuel mileage, and with emissions off tuning they disable egr valve function which does help with performance and economy.
From what I was told by Am Diesel Performance, is the encryption on the 20+ is to advanced (whatever that means) to be cracked by the ezlynk stand alone tuner. At this point only a computer has the ability to crack into the ecu to be able to bypass the emissions and rewrite the tuning. They did say Ezlynk is working to make there device capable to work on the newer truck, we just dont have a timeframe on when it will be released.
The whole reason for removing it the egr is preventing the cooler from cracking and filling the exhaust side of the engine with coolant. By just unplugging it, doesnt do much , youll still have exhaust pressure and heat making its way through the system and depending how well the egr valve seals the loop would still activate. My recommendation would be just to delete the system
I have my ccv routed down right by my lower fuel filter. I notice when it’s real cold -30ish road sludge freezes onto the opening. Do you ever have this issue with yours?
Do you know if the 2020+ has issues with the EGR bolts breaking off in the manifold? I know 17-19 were bad about those two 10mm bolts breaking off and couldn’t get them out. Thanks!

@@BanackIndustries Im having the same issues with mine. On dry roads no problems. On wet roads dash lights up like christmas tree. Hill decent mode, advace trac, ABS, goes into limp mode. I have to let truck dry out then i can clear the codes

The SPE "cheese grader" or also know as a internal catch can, acts as a oil /air separater, and basically all it does is keep oil out of the blow by tube I have a alternative way of limiting blow by tube oil, just routing the tube up and across the engine the way i did in the video. That gives the oil a up hill path it has to travel before exiting the tube. Seems to be working for me as there is minimal residue at the exit point of the tube.
Thanks for explanation! The theory behind it seems solid but I'm curious if the internal catch can has a risk to get clogged up over time. I'd like to see one taken out after a couple years use or longer.

They wont hold up with anything over 50hp if the transmission isnt tuned. But with proper tuning they take power no issue and perform extremely well

Bought mine from explosive diesel on my 2020 F250. My buddy bought his from bigdaddydiesel. No longer have to send in ECM. Runs like a freight train.

No it doesn't matter, it just keeps the egr valve shut

Removing the egr cooler doesnt really effect fuel mileage. The Engine tuning is what effects fuel mileage, and with emissions off tuning they disable egr valve function which does help with performance and economy.

Yes that's normal, I like to route the blow by tube out the passenger side just for that reason

Yup, just gotta constantly keep a eye on it and make sure its clean. Thats just common practice with blow by tubes, doesn't matter what engine

I deleted my 2019. I unplugged the EGR, Is it neccessary to remove the EGR and add block off plates or can I just leave it the way it is?
You can leave it on, but you run the risk of the egr cooler still cracking and leaking coolant into the exhaust

The newest 6.7 has no filter in that housing, really does not help much compared to pre 2019.
