Just did the egr delete on my 19 this morning. The only butt puckering moment was when I thought the dreaded back left bolt on the pipe was stripped but was able to remove without breaking!! Moving to my cp4 disaster prevention kit, CCV reroute, coolant line reroute, and finally my intercooler piping kit. Thanks Colt for the great videos "I ain't no diesel mechanic" either but they really helped me.

@@COLTSWAY just did it this morning along with the CCV reroute (those back bolts kicked my ass). I waiting to do it when I had everything torn apart from the other installs. It was not bad at all since mine is a 19 all of my connections were quick connect. It took me about an hour or so. Just painted my piping kit with duplicolor gun metal gray high heat with ceramic and spraying high gloss (with a hardener) tonight. All done with rattle cans and looks pretty damn good. I'll start assembling everything back together tomorrow as I am off this week. My SPE coolant reroute is on back order so I have to wait another week until it arrives.

Hey C, today was the big day, thanks to your videos I finally got the courage to deal with them EGR cooler damn bolts and remove the cooler to install the block off plates. I on blast them for almost a month regularly and it was incredible easy to break them loose, I was very happy not having to deal with a broken bolt. Also I reroute the coolant hoses with a Kit from Pusher and looks really good, and also replaced the thermostat with one from SPE, they assure it runs cooler with this thermostat, especially in this southern Texas summer. I haven’t checked the CGT with Ezlynk as you recommended but I have check engine light or warnings. When I learn how to send pics in TH-cam I’ll send you a couple. Thank you for your videos that make possible to us to do all this things. I’m very proud of what I did today bro. Thank you!!!

@@COLTSWAYHey Brother, I know it’s been awhile since this video but I just did this mod along with the intake piping kit and ccv re route just last week. I thought I’d let you know when pulling my EGR out I damaged the fuel return line and injector. Those plastic connectors are right there under the EGR and I guess I snagged one. Plus it broke the tube off the injector. Just wanted to throw this in the comments in case it saves someone else this problem. All the research I did before hand didn’t see this mentioned by anyone. Great video! The EGR probe question is hard to find the correct answer for without really digging. That is very helpful. I did my '17 last summer and it took a lot of reading to find the answer. FJB!!!

Colt did you attach the bracket in the back right side that had the hoop on it? The kit I got came with a bracket to attach it to a bolt but I can’t figure out how to attach it.

Thanks so very much for the detailed video. Like many others, my EGR bolts snapped. ProMaxx has a toolkit specifically made to drill+tap those two bolts, expensive but should be well worth it (mine arrives tomorrow).

I installed a tuner about 4 years ago on my 2011 F250, unplugged that damn EGR valve and never looked back. Still have my DPF on the truck but need to probably get that off. Ford dealership wanted about $2500 to address a code related to the EGR at the time. Stay cool, stay loose. Thanks

Good video as always. I’m about to do a high flow dpf. I wish they made an intake piping kit with the egr in place but man do they look good when it’s just a motor, turbo, and piping. Question for you...do you have to unplug the egr or will the tuning just shut it off?
You don’t have to unplug it, the tune turns it off. I just always unplug. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

I want to delete my egr and do a ccv reroute and full intercooler piping but my 19 is still under warranty and I know if anything happens I’ve got a ton of stock parts to put back on before a dealer can see it. Hey my man: quick question: I have a vacuum line from the EGR cooler unplugged because I don’t see where to connect it, so I sealed it. Is that thing needed to do something or I just leave it sealed like I did ?

Awesome video!!! I hope I get lucky like you and don't break any bolts. I have the same kit to install been sitting in my garage for 2 years in a box. I heard these trucks have a high pressure fuel pump issue when it goes it puts debris in your fuel system causing a ton of damage so I bought a CP4 disaster prevention kit and thinking about installing that at the same time since I'll already have shit torn apart. Keep making videos brother they are very helpful and god bless!

They've got the DCR replacement pump now for the CP4.2 as those things will cause some damage! They're designed for greasier European diesel yet Ford still uses them knowing they start to fail from the first time my 6.7 started in 2019! Yes I use HotShot secrets every day treatment and cummins fuel pump lubricant which hell I don't know how much it helps plus I've got a bottom filter that is stuck in the housing which nobody has ever heard of so looks like I've got to buy another housing (or with the new DCR pump from S&S doesn't need but one filter usually the top one I think don't quote me) for the bottom fuel filter and change it ASAP as ive been doing mine atleast every 10,000 miles (every other oil change) book says 20,000 miles with light duty use if I remember.. im thinking about that DCR instead of DPK hell both made by the same people and the fuel pump is permanent no more worrying! I respect Cummins (even though a 2019 6.7 powerstroke man) because they recalled the 3 years they used the CP4.2 fuel pump and put the CP3 back on for free! Now that's backing up your product!!! Hell majority of the time Ford will denie you warranty work saying you put watered or bad diesel in the truck like we're able to see what's in the damn tanks underground! Watch PTT with Arod! Good looking out on that video brother I've got to find a damn EZ Link as ive got all the hardware a buddy gave me his but said can't reuse the Lynk.. its hard as hell with the damn government controlling what I do to my truck engine! I never thought I'd see the day in our great nation! 🇺🇸 🇺🇲

That’s exactly how I did my truck I also bang the bolt a few times the shock helps like a impact the back bolt that holds the EBP sensor wire on my egr was the hardest of the job

I know this way a year ago, hopefully you see this, I was wondering why you ended up going this route and not keeping dummy plugs. I'm in the process of researxhing and was just curious why now and if I should just go this rounte instead of dummp plugs

I have a question about the EGT sensor. I understand after delete you must swap out with the sensor from the DPF to get it to read correctly but
I wonder why? Certainly Im no expert and I have looked all over the internet to no avail. Just wondering if you know. Sorry to bother you if you have already provided this info. Anyways......keep up the great videos! They are great!
My man! Thank you brother. I am not 100% sure why. All the reading I did about it just said it has sometime to do with the wiring internals of the plugs. But you only need to swap it if you use block off plates. 🇺🇸🦅🇺🇸

Another nice video, thanks for the info. I just installed the No Limit Fab. cold air on mine. I bought the stage one kit and absolutely love it. My EGR cooler is still on and fits like a glove. Our temperature up here (WI) is -2* F so I had to rush through it, took 30 minutes.
