@@ReidStefanMusic The first time I watched a video of yours was in 2017 when I was just learning the ropes of Ableton, so that makes sense. I'm now producing semi-profesionally, so thank you for all the knowledge along the way brotha!
What are those giant, impactful instruments that I am haering in the back, and how do you manage them with your drums/808? Great video btw, I hope you and the mrs are well.
Awesome. These bits and pieces of variations on different pieces just change the game. I'm not buying any more plugins ever. Many Thanks for these ONE STOP sound design tips.
Hey thanks I've not had the pleasure yet of using roar, I'm too into the generative tools right now, trying to figure those out, some joyful noise is happening!
Great video! It would be awesome if you could match the post processed plugin output to the original one so that we could hear better what the plugin actually does. Right now in a lot of cases it gets louder and it automatically sounds better. But without a trained ear it is hard to distinguish what the plugin does and the sample just being louder. I mean I know the plugin does a lot, just would be nice to hear it better!
@@ReidStefanMusic Understand completely, gotta let it out!!...😁 Love the channel, appreciate you sharing your wisdom & experience in the music field. Continue the great work. One love. Stay up.
Superb video as usual! I don't know why but this plugin reminds me of the Xfer OTT... I find that ableton improves more and more with each update and will perhaps one day become THE all-in-one software to absolutely have in your studio for its practical and intuitive side. I have a question to ask you and if I could get your opinion that would be great! I would like to upgrade my Rode NT2 for a more high-end microphone which would already allow me to have sound when recording (unlike the Rode which sounds boring and flat after several years of use...). I would opt for a tube microphone like the WA-47 or the WA-8000 because the originals are my two favorite microphones in terms of sound reproduction! I know you own the Sony c800g so I would like to have your opinion on this dilemma. Thanks to you !
Hi! Thank you for the review! I wonder if there is any similar plug in to roar that i can get without having to upgrate to abletone suite? Any recomendations? Thank you!
Amazing tutorial as usual, i follow you and Karra since the beginning i guess 😂 i've got just a quick question which is far from the main focus of this vid (btw i love roar), do you really mix a whole song in ableton guys? A song with like 50-60 stems? I'm asking because i've tried too but it was impossible for me. I've got huge problem with latency, both with a low buffer size or high. Indeed i don't mix in ableton and to be honest i don't even record in there because i got a lot of latency too if i use something like autotune or rvox (this happens only in ableton) and yess my mac is a powerful one, please don't tell me that it's not just me 😪 ❤
I mix the same whether I’m in Ableton or Pro Tools. If I’m making a beat I use Ableton. If I’m recording a vocal only I use protools. Regardless of DAW I Record latency free using the direct monitoring features in my interface instead of listening to the mixed vocal thru DAW & plugin latency.
wish they have seperat Dry Wet option and we can switch and choose. between 2 mode like on the paning.. p.s. and more options for the feedback cntrl. modulation, keytrack, sidechain midi and audio..
i followed this and i have the preset now on waves but none of the knobs have that orange thing on the outside their just empty and when i click on them but i can make them look how their supposed to but it says input or output and even then it doesn't have the desired effect it just makes it louder or quieter there's no effects at all I've noticed that as well in your tutorial there's only one xps file but the ableton presets of the lofi sauce has multiple xps files and none of them work like intended on the waves plugging I'm guessing i should've got the waves lo fi sauce but if that's the case why even sell the normal Ableton life presets version when it doesn't work at all i spent like £20 on this and its only been a pain i thought all i had to do was download and that's that it'll work but there's not even a tutorial of how to install the ableton prests version of your sauces just waves so how i am supposed to get it to work @@ReidStefanMusic
I believe they’re now hidden by default but there’s a button to toggle them back on. I honestly never use them since I discovered audio effect racks in 2017 so I didn’t notice until reading your comment 😅
Best YT intros of all time, 6 years and counting. Stoked to get going with Roar, appreciate the tips
I have tutorials dating back to 2011 on my channel, but the “iiiitttsss production time” intro first appeared in 2017 🔥

not to mention the mid roll "Disrespectful 808's Trailer" :'D
I lost it at the disrespectful 808s ad hahahahahaha that was amazing
your neighbors will hate my new 808 sample pack!
I really appreciate the detection to getting b-roll of the puppet blankly staring at the screen.
Honestly, the editing so tight, do you edit yourself?
I film and edit everything by myself except for the midway advertisements which require an assistant
Wow your lessons are great and the video production quality has improved so much it's insane!
my first time on this channel, cinematic production value! awesome tutorial!

A/B testing without gain compensation really makes sense.

I hardly buy new plugins anymore. I have too many 😅

It’s by far the best part of the entire Ableton 12 upgrade in my workflow 🔥

Ravers On A Rampage! 🦍🦍🦍 Big up yourself Reid for another banger tut. Jumping into Roar now!
Yoo! i have 12 standard and roar isn't included. Is it something I need to download from the website?
P3ac3!!!
Call EA Sports quickly... That song you're mixing is dope & i can hear this on Madd3n, nba2k , etc... Gr8 tutorial...
is roar going to be available in standard, or is it exclusive to suite?
Probably exclusive to suite
@@ReidStefanMusic dang...it seems so powerful

Hello. Name of the Mouse you are using 😊
FinalMouse Air58. They’re only for sale on eBay
@@ReidStefanMusic 👍 Thank you Reid
Isn’t roar only in the suite version ?
I believe it’s accessible from the standard version too
@@ReidStefanMusic I just checked and only for suite owner 😩😩😩
Nice video, but only 9k views??
It’s a brand new plugin. People will discover it gradually overtime 🤷🏼♂️
8:43 you pushed up the amount on mid, there, and not on the sides, didn’t you?
Yes I said side by mistake😅
13:00 that 808 is so disrespectful ableton didn't even make a fader for so much clipping above 0
or just use Trash 2?
"MOST DISRESPECTFUL PLUGIN"
Possibly the best stock plugin ever 🔥
Hey bro, what midi keyboard is this? Looks so good! Thanks for the video
