    I finally bought the ac200L because the ac240 has low capacity, inferior solar input and too heavy weight compared to the ac200L which have even more capacity. I don’t have the money to buy 4 batteries. 2 batteries in the next years will be very good.
    I am very happy with the ac200L. Quiet, powerful, ups mode, 12A charge standard, good usable solar input. Good app. I bought the pv420 at very good discount. I still need to test it but the weather was bad (snow and rain) i will wait good sun day.

    Bought an AC200L in late Dec23 and appeared great until we had a multiday power outage. Could not use solar due to rain and storms. Used 100% powered unit to keep our refrigerator and freezer running for about 7-8 hours. Went to recharge the power station with our gas generator on outdoor porch. The AC200L would not take a charge from a Honda EU2000i inverter sine wave generator. I have been working with customer service in China and they have messed around with the firmware for several weeks and nothing works. They do not seem to understand why and the Bluetti website no longer has anything about any of their power stations being able to take a AC charge from a pure sine wave gas generator! They had some that had older firmware that worked as advertised but apparently they have removed that function! This makes the unit worthless as we found in our first storm. If one can’t charge from the power grid, can’t charge from a sine wave gas generator, can’t charge from non-waterproof solar panels in a rain storm, so only way left is a vehicle power plug, cigarette lighter that takes 10-20 hours! That is unacceptable and in reality is false advertising. I read one review of Bluetti by another TH-cam reviewer and he raved about the customer support. He is off in left field and they only respond to email. Tried calling several times and no one would answer. When I bought my unit, you could talk to sales but not now! What is going on with this company? Seems to me the FCC and other alphabet organizations need to get involved and investigate this company that seems to put out another model every time they turn around! Stay away from Bluetti!

      Thanks for sharing this experience, that is something I need to put on my test list. All power stations should charge from pure sine wave generator. I would try adjusting the charge rate from your phone app and see if that works.

    Power lifting mode lowers the voltage so resistive appliances can run at lower wattage.

      That is very interesting. Thank you for the comment. You could very well be correct. I'm going to confirm this with bluetti and update the description once they confirm this.

    Thanks for the great review. Can the 12v 10amp cigarette DC outlet not power the RV power (jacks/slides etc)? Or is it best to hope and wait for the D40 adapter to become available. Thanks

    • @diySolarPowerFunWithRay
      @diySolarPowerFunWithRay  6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks. Because cigarette lighters can only output 10 Amps.l you'll need to use the other 12v port. My RV jacks use 20 amps

    • @CC-gt3ro
      @CC-gt3ro 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The D40 won’t provide 12v30A directly into a fusebox. According to bluetti it can be use only to charge the rv battery. Don’t expect provide 12v to a maxxair fan for example..you will need to install a battery, plug the fan on the fuse box and plug the d40 to the battery and finally plug the bluetti to the d40. From what i understood. If they don’t provide simply a cable without a data pin like a simple anderson i don’t think people will like this new dc solution. If they provide a 48v8a to anderson there is a chance to use a converter 48 to 12v. Will see. They talk about two possibilities , by cable and by the d40. The only chance is by cable then use a converter. But all rv have a battery. It is more difficult for peiple like me that have only a cargo trailer without a battery. I want 12v30a from an anderson or cigarette cable to directly go to the fusebox. d40 won’t allow that. It is coming from a bluetti tech response.

    When Is the adapter from 48 volt to 12 Volt coming?
    Thanks for the video

    • @diySolarPowerFunWithRay
      @diySolarPowerFunWithRay  5 หลายเดือนก่อน

      It is taking a very long time. I'm starting to question whether they are going to release it at all. Amazon sells a good 48 volt to 12 volt converter but you just need to make a special plug that will hook into that adapter

      @@diySolarPowerFunWithRaywrong.
      There is a data pin.
      The d40 will ouput 12v20A with ac200L alone and 12v30A with solar panel + ac200L.
      You cannot plug a third party converter, unless in the future Bluetti decide so to create an other device which do only a step down converter, 12/24. But for now only a d40 is planned.

      @bradcooke5383 it looks like it was at 96% charge when I was trying the power lifting mode. Seems like a pretty simple thing to test. I'm not sure why the other reviewers haven't called them out on this. Hopefully I'll have a follow-up video after I get in contact with bluetti.

      Thanks, unfortunately I don't have any of those. But I'm sure it could run them. It's designed to run anything that you can plug into a standard house Outlet, so it should be able to run them fine. Although possibly not at the same time

    so basically the 200L is for european usage and the 200max is for north americans.. what is the use in a 48 volt out let.. and a useless 100 am usb lol you caint run both 100 amp usb's at the same time.. for americans they need to add all the cool stuff from the L and add to the max or better yet give consumers the choice of 12 or 48 volt on the 200L

      not the 200L P which still have the 48v8A useless plug but look at the ac 240.
      It will have 2400w inverter and the new parallel connector to get 4800w inverter and will allow more current to allow plugging 4 x b210 battery but will require new connector.the 48v8A and the d40 will NOT provide 12v30a !!! But only allow charging the rv battery. There will be possibly a cable 48v8a to anderson but we need to see if we can plug a converter 48 to 12v30A.
      The Ac240 will have the 12v30A but only 1536wh battery. So the best will be to plug two ac240 for 4800w inverter and 3072 wh bd rv 30A and 12v30A + 12v10A that it will provide. It will be also iP65 dust and splash resistant and can plug 4 x 2150wh for 10k+ wh. Each elements (host and batteries) will be more portable than the ac200L & b300 batteries, probably less than 60 lbs each.
