Hi John, I recorded this , and was the tour manager, engineer,... Just wanted to know how you go the mixes... I used to have it on DAT, and also the live show at NHK hall. Just thanking you for uploading... Amazing, original members with Mr. Tom Harriman and others on the synth orchestra.... Just thanking you . Was this NHK studios? After Kayama Yuzo? TV Session, we did also some rehearsals recording at Hitokuchi zaka studio (Pony Canyon) I believe on this tour.... Great documentation. Great collaboration.
i love both Karen and Akiko Kobayashi since the 80's, but could never liken their voices, not until now............ if you listen with your eyes closed, you might think it is Karen who's singing, except for some phrasing imperfection (can't fault Akiko, English' is not her native language). Kudos!!!
You can see Richard getting emotional there at the piano.I read up on him,he has 4 daughters and 1 son.1 daughter has Karen as her middle name.The kids all sing at summer concerts with their Dad near there home outside of LA.
