    A great product for those who want Rack and Pinion steering, I'd use this in some cars but I also like the power steering box especially in the 70's and 80's american cars, I love the super light steering on them, it's so comfortable to drive on some cars. I wonder how light this Rack and Pinion is?

    It is unclear to me how the track width is dialled in. Does it still need car specific steering arms to be bolted to it? This is a big issue, I worked for a small sportscar company. They used Ford steering racks and a special company was needed to shorten them. For safety the thread needed to be rolled into the metal instead of cut.

    very shiny but $2500 US which is about $3500 New Zealand is an expensive solution to a steering problem and while it looks good and I'm sure it performs well too, there are a lot of cheaper options that will work just as well. I suppose it depends on your budget, and you look for the solution that works within that budget, "needs must" as they say.

    You still would need LHD cockpit. This device seems to be quite pointles as you still need parts from LHD car to make a conversion.

    He doesn't quite get geometry...if you rotate something 360 degrees, you're right back to where you started.
    What he MEANS to say is 180 degrees.

    • @418-Error
      @418-Error 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      crickle47 I think he means it can rotate anywhere from 0 to 360 degrees. Adjust to however you need it.
