Concrete pathways to action, as opposed to simply vague 'calls' to action, has been my biggest takeaway from this. Many thanks, and look forward to reading the book based on your podcasts!

The overarching problem is you need a theory that unites us all, in pushing for a revolution it excludes the old who crave comfort and routine, it omits business who chase profit and growth. What's needed is a way to tweak the system and the only way that will happen is to change money by factoring sustainability into it!

While I agree with your last comment about sustainability, we are way beyond tweak area. We need total change of perception and action. People who crave, or are conditioned, for comfort and routine need to get we are in the last days where that's a thing. We left it way late. There aren't really many choices involved.

@@richardallan2767 I agree with you. The word 'Tweak' seems to weak a word for what's needed, but in essence that's all that's required if we were to change the nature of money itself so every time a transaction is undertaken, it spurs businesses and consumers alike to invest in sustainability.

To raise new questions, new possibilities, to regard old problems from a new angle, requires creative imagination and marks real advance in society.

Thanks Roger I like this gentle rebellion design : local and national actions as pathways and as basis for next design steps then, all focus on the bridges and networks interactions open up.

"Entrenched power won't change unless there is material disruption of its interests". That's the problem though, right? The solution requires permanent material disruption of their interests, and of most people who don't get that if we carry on living like we are, constantly expanding, we don't get to keep living.
