After their match at WrestleMania 22, Vince McMahon and Shawn Michaels continued their rivalry. While HBK wanted to move on and get a shot at the WWE Championship, McMahon had other plans. Vince booked a match where he and his son Shane McMahon would take on Shawn Michaels and God, the match would happen at the Backlash 2006 pay per view, and McMahon would promote the match by visiting the church and even beginning his own religion; McMahonism.

I'm not saying she was for certain, but just saying I wouldn't be a bit surprised if Candice Michelle was one of those women who signed NDAs with Vince, and that part of her agreement for keeping quiet was a run with the Divas title. Again, just sayin'.

Congrats on another great video. Appreciate your prolific work ethic and consistency. Another respectful but intentional approach to an all too controversial subject, religion. At no point did it take away from your delivery or presentation of the video.
What seems ironic and may be lost on some of the viewers is that folks from ireland probably have a very unique and concentrated experience with the effect religion has on every day life. You do a tremendous job of not making any of these videos about you or your own personal beliefs on a variety of subjects but I will say that the videos have really improved since you've injected more of your original humor and content. "Chinlocks" and "jam"........just awesome and really has added to the overall presentation of a continuously gratifying and fun channel. Keep up the great work and good luck on any and all projects in the future! Cheers.

I wasn't offended by the angle at all and even found some of the church segments funny but knowing vince he probably didn't get the satire and just liked the idea of him beating God. I think that's the biggest issue with this angle and why plenty of people found it offensive other than for religious reasons. The humour and satire was unintentional and it was just booked to stroke vinces massive ego.

It did lead on from the previous angle, but I suspect you may be right. Having 'God' the spotlight leave Shawn seemed like a dumb thing imo. At least Vince didn't pin the spotlight and say he pinned God or tear up a Bible or anything. Although even if he had, I think people here would still say "lol get a life no one should be offended by that" and "im a christian and vince could urinate on a bible and it would be funny lolol"

This is random but I really liked when Shane McMahon performed an outside arm drag into the barricade you don't see that too often and it looked really good

I wouldn’t be surprised if WWE pissed off a lot of Christians when Vince and Shane tried to fight “God”.

Vince is an onion of wtf, layer upon layer of wtf. Plus, the photoshops backed my theory that Vince is on the spectrum.
