@@mauroiorio7904 We should never be afraid of the band trying to go into new directions; we should appreaciate it instead because it would make their albums more different one from each other. We may not like the final result of course (for myself, I don't like Kaleidoscope that much) but knowing that Transatlantic is a kind of conservative band with clear inspirations from classic prog, hearing something new from them feels really refreshing and modern in comparisson to SMPTe for instance. So far, I'm loving this sound, and I hope you'll be able to enjoy too, even if it takes some time :)
I definitely agree. I just heard the knew LTE track and although at least one (maybe all) disagree, I couldn't hear Tony Levin either. I do seem to recall hearing the bass in Petrucci's solo stuff. Maybe it's just me.
This album is SO wonderful, as is everything this band has come up with. I love that they all sing, contribute and focus on such a spiritual and uplifting message. It makes it all a very wonderful listen and almost life altering experience when you hear it. The albums that these fellows have made is so transformative and complete. I would thank them all in person, if I could.

Transatlantic is amazing with the journey they bring us. This album showcases the fab 4 doing it again, but with a fresh twist. The recording itself is so good that all parts are clear and not distorted. The Bass and Drums really have great tone and punch. I'm hoping for a tour here in the U.S.A.!!
Nice to see that Pete Trewavas has the chance to put his amazing skills on this fantastic band, the best prog band from this century till the day. Marillion is also a huge band, but more song-orientaded, almost poppy (especially on S. Hogarth's era) and Pete couldn't express his full capacity there.
