That's fair, but where would Androw get the poison from and how would he get enough of it to poison all of Rhaena's friends? The Tears of Lys is extremely expensive and hard to come by
nah, aerea's tragedy isn't too dark for hbo. don't you know by now that his is exactly the kind of golden nugget that they'd want to be artfully executed? ned getting beheaded on screen, shireen getting burned alive, the mountain crushing oberyn martell's head with his bare hands, bran witnessing cersei and jaime boinking, not to mention bran being pushed from a tower, the massacre at the red wedding, joffrey choking to death on screen. nothing is too dark for hbo.
The Night’s Watch sending Bastard Children to the Others is like moving out of an apartment completely and still paying rent for the next 8000 years because you’re such a nice person.
Jaehaerys had Septon Moon poisoned, it had to be done and Jaehaerys couldn't just fly in and burn Moon or he'd be called a second Maegor. I think Jaehaerys helped Androw Farmen poison Rhaena's friends too. Scared some more dragon eggs might come up missing he needed Rhaena and her friends off of Dragon Stone without making a big scene. Androw wasn't clever or resourceful enough to get his hands on tears of Lys.
Eh... There are more important stories to tell Aegons story, is no different than any conqueror, except he has dragons, never really conquered the 7 kingdoms and his dream, "song of ice and fire", which could have just been him, losing his mind in his own way... Mad king shows it is possible and the saying "every time a Targaryen is born, the Gods flip a coin". All that's important about him, was he introduced dragons to the north, using them to get the thrown and if his dream, was truly a vision or he just believed it was. First of the first men, is a much more important story, since they were the first conquerors and fought against the children of the forest. Learning who the CoTF made into the night king is at the top of the list of importance and why did beings, who used magic on someone, but created a villain to all living things, they couldn't control is up there as well. Aegons dream could have been just a dream, the song of ice and fire, had 1000 years, to be partially true, since it seems so many families share blood to a degree, that the chances of his ancestors and a stark would have a kid. He wasn't the prince that was promised (based on the movie), John Snows name, was apparently cursed, according to irgit and many other things, that make it seem like, he just believed it was a vision. The 3 eyed Raven could have also interfered with him, making him believe he had "the vision". I just don't think his conquest would be as worth learning about as so many other things. Like Valeria, up to it's fall, the wars starting with the FoTFM and the CoTF or even the current show, which is leading us to believe, all of these great houses, past and present, have actually crossed blood lines at some point. I mean heck, I was surprised learning the barathatheons, shared blood with the Targaryens. Those alone have so much that can be explained and answered, including anything about Aegons conquest, so it's be better to do Targaryens, pre conquest and who knows, maybe grey scale being their fall, could be related to other magical beings, forcing them to fight their own "white walkers", because they didn't leave to conquer, they left, because they lost their home... Heck, even with their dragons, whatever happened, it was MUCH easier to conquer 6 of 7, kingdoms in the north, than it was to save their own home. Sir jorah could have cut them down by himself, if he had his sword, while taking tyrian. Just my thoughts though
How is any of This to to dark for HBO? Expect for The disturbing event whit Area and Balerion. The rest of the conciliator rein was downright boring ( I find it fascinating) and expect for some rare exiting events this time was downright peaceful ( Sera defiance, Aemons death, the Dornish battles and that is basically it)
I wish they made that animated. The comics have a great style, but, of course, western animation is too cowardly to get as violent as GRRM requires (even is Dunk and Egg is a bit more tame than the rest). @@videobooks3

I was really happy to hear that HBO made a DOTD show, but the other show that I thought would've been cool would have been the rule of Jaehaerys and Queen Alysanne would have been great too. Between all of the drama with their kids and everything in between? Easily 4-6 Seasons or more, maybe wouldn't be very action packed or anything but more of a Drama, prolly why it wouldn't ever get made though.
after researching it enough its almost obvious to me that aegon and whoever came after werent the kings of westeros, they where only hands to the true king which is the dragon Balerian the Black Dread. after Balerian they had a close second in Vhagar but pretty much when the black dread died, so did the majority of Targaryens.

@@videobooks3 She herself championed Jahaerys's claim, and had had enough of KL. There is genuinely nothing in canon suggestive of her wanting her kids to supplant Jahaerys or Alysanne. What exactly was she doing?
Yeah at most I think she was worried that Jaeherys would do something to her and her kids, believing they could be a threat. Thus why it looks like Rhaena was doing everything she could to stay as far away as possible and make herself be not a target. In short I don't think she planned to suplant Jaeherys. Rather she she was worried that Jaeherys may believe she wanted to, which would explain her actions.
nah that's just pure man hating, rogar had maesters around him to consult if she could still bare children. and the fact that she literally decides to go through with it herself means she wished to make more kids, it's unfair for her to threaten rogar since alyssa herself wanted it too knowing the inherent risk.

I don't get why Silverwing not flying past the wall is used as evidence that dragons can't fly beyond the wall .... like Silverwing didn't watch her man die w/o helping at all! Silverwing was probably cold and scared lol I bet Caraxes would've done it
The bit with the white walkers and the lords first night makes no sense bastards were not being sent to the wall, those who were sent weren't sent beyond the wall and the nights watch was well manned that such a thing wouldnt be necessary also why would it take hundreds of years.Such a shame that people remember them by how the show presented them, the show made the others horned demons but they were supposed to be more ethereal and like tolkiens elves.

That's fair, but where would Androw get the poison from and how would he get enough of it to poison all of Rhaena's friends? The Tears of Lys is extremely expensive and hard to come by
@videobooks3 Also I don't think she was poisoned because of her claim on the throne, but her ability to hatch dragons. They were after the dragons.
Rhaena was the first grandchild of King Aegon I Targaryen, and it is said that he wept the first time he held her.
nah, aerea's tragedy isn't too dark for hbo. don't you know by now that his is exactly the kind of golden nugget that they'd want to be artfully executed? ned getting beheaded on screen, shireen getting burned alive, the mountain crushing oberyn martell's head with his bare hands, bran witnessing cersei and jaime boinking, not to mention bran being pushed from a tower, the massacre at the red wedding, joffrey choking to death on screen. nothing is too dark for hbo.
Thank you.
Thanks for watching 😊
The Night’s Watch sending Bastard Children to the Others is like moving out of an apartment completely and still paying rent for the next 8000 years because you’re such a nice person.

I think the darkest moment was when Tyrion did that uncalled backflip before Jon Snow at the wall. That was pretty messed up.
Very good mate
theres so many what ifs about jaehaerys reign its craaazy
I really liked Jaehaerys. Best part of book besides Aegon's conquest
I wanna see a show about the conqueror, Aegon the first, and Maegor the cruel, their very important in the Targaryen story
19:47 so Alicent just forgot about this law 😂
How is any of This to to dark for HBO? Expect for The disturbing event whit Area and Balerion. The rest of the conciliator rein was downright boring ( I find it fascinating) and expect for some rare exiting events this time was downright peaceful ( Sera defiance, Aemons death, the Dornish battles and that is basically it)
I just want to see a Trial Of Seven
Seeing as there’s only a few it’s be spectacular either way.
Maybe in the Tales of Dunk and Egg TV adaptation 👍
I wish they made that animated. The comics have a great style, but, of course, western animation is too cowardly to get as violent as GRRM requires (even is Dunk and Egg is a bit more tame than the rest). @@videobooks3
If Rhaena really wanted the Iron Throne she should have had more children with Androw or other men and made them dragon riders
Where did u get the book or pdf. I also want to read some.
Bro you need to be more clear when you are talking about the actual content of the book vs when you’re just throwing out theory and conjecture, at present you’re just talking as if it’s all fact/canon, when in actuality there’s so much shit that you are straight up just making up

I do not think androw had anything to do with a master conspiracy he was a beard for his "wife" so she could be with her lovers and it seemed like she perhaps fooled him into thinking that she loved him then after being turned into a joke he lashed out
I think it was more of a Margaery/Ser Loras/Renley type relationship he just eventually got fed up after he became the castle joke. Poor guy, even Aerea was cruel to him
@@kerrirae that may have been the case
But in my opinion i think androw had genuine feelings for her and i think at one point she did to but as she became more and more jaded over time her affection turned to scorn
@@danieltaylor6836andro deserved better, he should have asked for an annulment the marriage was a sham any way. alyssan might be his best choice, just anything but turning himself into the worm they thought of him as.
@@mesa577 that's quite a naive way of looking at things even though both Jaehaerys qnd alyssan could be quite reasonable they both would not allow slights to there house and asking for an annulment of the marriage would have been the same as if androw had announced that he had gotten the kings daughters pregnant he would have been sentenced to death there isnt any doubting it
His only options to escape with his life would have been to flee to essos or take the black
@@danieltaylor6836I don't see it as a slight to their name, and alyssane might take pitty on the mentally impaired andro. and they can ride with the excuse of andro not being fit mentally or physically to allow him to leave the marriage, and I don't even think rheana would disagree since she saves face and the farmans are little importance.
I saved this to my Watch Later playlist bcuz it looked interesting and when I finally decided to "play all" it was the second video but at first I wasn't paying attention... At first. Lol!! I'm so glad I saved this video, it was so well done, informative, well read, and with no grammatical errors or mispronunciations, which are pet peeves of mine that, sadly, run rampant on TH-cam these days. I "liked" AND "subscribed" which I normally don't do, and am currently looking for Part 1 and whatever comes after this one! Lol!!
Seriously, though, can anyone tell me which ones they are before I start going through withdrawals?! Lol!!
Part 1 is What if Aemond was King of Westeros for 55 years or you can start with our Aegon video 👍
I got excited for a second. 😂
What comes first? Your breakdown of Preston Jacobs' version of The Winds of Winter, or breakdown of GRRM's version.
My boy, good video, but that text black to red text on a gray background is unreadable.
Question if I may, I didn't read the books, is this info and the stories of Aegon the Conqueror from the original books books
Whats the music?
You should make ACOK and ASOS summary videos too
Does this have spoilers for season 2?
No it doesn't 👍

Is this from the book's from Fire an Blood
They should have started house of the dragon with viserys 1 doing his last ride of balerion
Leaving a comment so i can watch this video tomorrow
But how does his older Sister have a "stronger claim " than him?
Respectfully
If Maegor was a usurper, then Aegon the Uncrowned was the rightful King, making Aerea the next in line for the throne, not Jaehaerys
What is the song in the background at the beginning?
2:53:06 what did he sayyy?
after researching it enough its almost obvious to me that aegon and whoever came after werent the kings of westeros, they where only hands to the true king which is the dragon Balerian the Black Dread. after Balerian they had a close second in Vhagar but pretty much when the black dread died, so did the majority of Targaryens.
1:06:59 that’s Ebola 🤷🏾♂️
Why do you pronounce Jaehaerys as Jae-Heer-is?
he mispronounces like 20-30 regular English words too lmao. I'm Australian too so he doesn't have any excuse.
I'll never understand the undeserved confidence of not even looking up how to pronounce words you dont know.
1:29:02 "long after ww2" lol wonder if the targs would be the allies or not
That Rhaena wanting to overthrow Jahaerys theory is wack
It does kind of explain what she was doing during Jaehaerys' regency
@@thewerdna Exactly it is bonkers to suggest otherwise.
Who are the Others?
Long live king Jaehaerys❤
58:05 Rhaena is a badass
She's a dumbass who never learned that arrogance has a steep price even after she had to pay it.
nah that's just pure man hating, rogar had maesters around him to consult if she could still bare children. and the fact that she literally decides to go through with it herself means she wished to make more kids, it's unfair for her to threaten rogar since alyssa herself wanted it too knowing the inherent risk.

Rhaena flying dreamfyre to make amens with her mother to discover alyssa was dead. Rhaena must have thought great my mother left this world thinking she hated her. Rha
Rhaena didn't deserve what happened to wear in life, losing her brother / husband. Being fourth to mary Her.
Uncle maegor is losing her daughter aerea, her second husband killing all her friends, his sisters betrayal by stealing those eggs, and being passed over for the throne for her 14-year-old brother. It's any wonder why she became so bitter and so cold in the end.
I don't get why Silverwing not flying past the wall is used as evidence that dragons can't fly beyond the wall .... like Silverwing didn't watch her man die w/o helping at all! Silverwing was probably cold and scared lol I bet Caraxes would've done it
The bit with the white walkers and the lords first night makes no sense bastards were not being sent to the wall, those who were sent weren't sent beyond the wall and the nights watch was well manned that such a thing wouldnt be necessary also why would it take hundreds of years.Such a shame that people remember them by how the show presented them, the show made the others horned demons but they were supposed to be more ethereal and like tolkiens elves.
at least to me it seems like calling Rhaena "Queen Rhaena" is like calling the candidate that lost a presidential election "Mr. President"
I'll have extra tapatio on that, please
You won't see it in HOT D because this didn't happen during the dance.
The Showrunner has said that HOT D could be a banner used for shows about the other Targaryen Kings once they are done with The Dance. So hopefully we can get The Conquest, Maegor & even the Blackfyre Rebellions down the road.

How could Jaehaerys' sister, Rhaena, have a stronger claim to the throne? Was she his half-sister or something?
I may be mistaken but it's because Maegor wanted her to be the heir because she was his daughter.
She’s older and was married to the brother who was supposed to become king. Making her claim stronger then Jarhaerys’. And then she also married her uncle who then named her daughter his heir.
