Thank you for sharing such an incredible experience with us. That precious little baby boy is a miracle and I'm very happy you're both doing so good. Congratulations to the parents, brothers and extended family, he's a gorgeous little angel ❤
Congratulations! My sister delayed with her 4th and ended up delivering her own baby halfway down her stairs! She was trying to get to the doors b/c the stairs would have been very hard to manage with her in a stretcher. The ambulance showed up about 3 mins after the baby did! Apparently the baby was ready to come out but her body was not b/c she was not dilated fully and had massive tearing. She had only 45 mins of labour with #3 . Just so you know if you do this again-it definitely progressed faster every time with her and since you live so far out of town, maybe go in even when you think it’s too early.
ADRI, doing full curls in your hair with contractions 4 mins apart, like NBD….??!?!??! You’re amazing, hahaha, CONGRATS to you and your whole family!!!! 🎉
What a great experience! So happy you had a natural and unmedicated birth. It will definitely make for an easier recovery. As great as you feel, please make sure you take a good time to recover. Think of the size of that placenta. Thats the size of the wound in your uterus. As a doula, i always suggest mamas rest as much as humanly possible. The 5 5 5 rule is important. Five days in bed, five on the bed (meaning minimal getting up and mostly laying down) and five days around the bed (meaning low key in your home. Keeping your feet up. Your nutrition is key for your healing. Lots of soft warming foods. Broths, soups and such. So take care and congratulations!!!
fantastic advice! The birth was overwhelming, but the recovery was amazing! I wish I had been a little more prepared for the unmedicated birth so I could have felt more confident.
Congratulations!, he’s adorable, can’t believe how much hair he has☺️ Just a little reassurance when I had my natural birth I had a stage 2 tare and they injected me with pain relief before sewing and didn’t feel a thing, I also felt great and was out of hospital within 4 hours 😁
Congratulations! He's perfect❤ I see you switched it up from going to Costco whole in labor😂 can't wait to hear his name♥️ you were clearly just made to be a boy mom😂
Congratulations!! I also had a precitpitous labor but with my first! Talk about crazy! I was like you just kind of taking things casually. My husband and I went and got ice cream. We were just hanging out. I was having some contractions but I was a little over 37 weeks so I thought things were just warming up. At about 5:45pm contractions hit me hard and fast. Then my daughter was in my arms 2.5hrs later which is insane for a first time mom! She practically flew out of me 😅 We were all shocked even my OB. I labored at home for almost all of it. I remember it also being like the movies once I got in the hospital. Everyone was running around like crazy. I was screaming and then she was born. 😂 Also my water broke in the hospital lobby when we were walking in a huge gush. How long do you think your active labor was to baby being born? It sounds like it was just like 30 minutes!😮 Was your first baby also fast? I am scared of how quick my second will come 🙈
Oh, and it is possible to give birth without breaking your water at all! The baby is just birthed in an intact placenta, which must then be ruptured. This was considered to be very lucky in the past.
He's adorable! Congratulations!

There are babies born in the water bag . Placenta comes out usually 10 mins or more later.
