I went completely natural as well, you are right it's part of your mind set. With each pain I knew the baby was working it's way down & that helped a lot. I knew it was going to be over soon. God bless you & your new little blessing.
Congratulations on the arrival of your baby girl! I love your encouragement for moms who want to still give birth in the reassurance of a hospital but maintain a natural and positive birth experience. I gave birth to my first completely naturally in a hospital and while it was overall a positive experience, I am considering a birth center for my second for a more cozy birth😊 However, I don't believe that moms have to go to home births or birth centers to have the birth experience they want. Hospitals can be and SHOULD be (though they unfortunately are not always) supportive places for women of all risk levels and birth choices.
Thank you for sharing your experience. Very inspiring. My “nursery” setup looks exactly the same. Same bassinet, drawer in my dresser for baby clothes and things, IKEA cart for diapers etc. We never had proper nursery room and it has been fine.
Such a lovely change to hear your positive birth story in hospital. It just shows with prayer and focus and standing up for yourself and your needs respectfully, that it can be done in hospital. A lovely message for any first time mums to be out there. Well done and congratulations to you and your family on the birth of your beautiful baby 💕xx
Such a great story and I agree so much with your philosophy on how to have a wonderful natural birthing experience in the hospital ❤ I’ve birthed 8 babies (including twins) naturally in the hospital, (tho with my first born I did have an epidural). The last 5 babies have been under midwife care. I’ve been blessed with very wonderful labors/deliveries, praise God. Being your own advocate and being prepared are essential. I’m expecting baby #9 and am considering my first home birth, but I’m not a great candidate due to post birth hemorrhaging. But we’ll see. I live in Missouri too and I enjoy your channel. Enjoy that sweet bundle, she is just precious!😊💗
My hat is off to you mama! You are such a champion! Congrats on baby #9! I hope you can achieve your dream birth. Also in Missouri? That's awesome! Best wishes to you! -Jenilee
Due with my 9th in a little over a month. All 8 have been delivered naturally. I've had smooth labors as in everything went well and had no issues, but some have been traumatically painful. My last one was amazing, as close to a painless birth as I can imagine. I'm praying this one goes as well. I hope you had a successful and beautiful labor of your 9th whether it was at home or in the hospital!
Jenilee shared the primrose trick with my son and it was the biggest help I think in having him and having my body go into labor on its own before the due date.
The christian hypno birthing app was amazing. Helped me in the time before labor and while i was in labor. Helped me focus on trusting the Lord through the labor and redericting away from fear. I had a traumatically painful 7th labor. Id had multiple incredible painful labors prior to that, but that was so bad i couldnt bear it, and for way too long. My 8th was the best labor i could have even imagined after using that app for weeks beforehand. I realize that after being checked and not having progressed well despite transition like contractions, i went into freakout/ fear mode and my body just shut down. My 8th labor i was able to remain calm and trust what my body was doing. When they went to check me i mentally prepared myself for the worst news. I hadnt been in much pain, actively working, but not pain. So i didnt expect much. I was shocked to find i was 10 cm and ready to push. It was amazing. Still the hospital itself gives me a sense of dread and fear. Wish i could do a home birth, but live to far from any practicing midwives.
Congrats 🎊 2 out of my 3 births were natural hospital births, my last baby was a c-section because she was breach. I used the bradly method with my first 2. I practiced throughout my pregnancies just completely relaxing. It definitely helped. Also, I feel so blessed to give birth at our small town hospital. They are super hands off, and if you don’t want drugs, they will do everything they can to help you achieve that goal. With my 2nd born I threatened an epidural because I was stuck at a 7 for hours, my nurse was thinking that I had made it this far, I was not going to get an epidural😆 she got me in the tub, and only a few contractions later I was ready to push🎉 rest up sweet mama💝
Congratulations from Belgium, enjoy your time whit your newborn baby, take all the time you need, looking forward for your next video when you're ready, God bless you and your family! ❤
I wish the first part was left out or atleast had a trigger warning. I tried finding a positive birth story and to have it start like this just made me worry that if I need to be induced things will be hell and is giving me anxiety now 😂😂😂😢
But that's exactly what you talking about - hypnotizing yourself - which could be spiritually unaware what doors you were opening, noway I choose Jesus!
Beautiful description of Evie’s birth. You are truly a phenomenal woman blessed with a wonderful husband and beautiful healthy children. God bless!❤️
It is by the grace of God we had such a wonderful birth! Thank you!

I agree, hospital births should be more cozy. We have to create the experience we want to receive. Thanks for sharing your experience and wisdom!

Why did you go to the hospital? You knew everything….you and your husband seem to know everything. You could have birthed the baby yourself!
I know right!?!?! Well we dont know everything... but home birth is on my wish list
