What an incredibly adorable family and the girls are incredibly cute. You can tell what fun, loving parents Jay and Amber are. The children will obviously grow up with a real appreciation for the older, classic tunes. Their parents' love and affection clearly reflects in their children's happy and enthusiastic behavior.
The Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section really showed off on old time Rock&roll and this SONG, COME to Poppa Which both are 70s music. NOT 80s. And the lead guitarist was a teenager, not Drew Abbot or the late, GREAT PETE Carr. Hisfamily dropped him off at the studio and Howie went in, played the song and disappeared. INCREDIBLE! He is still recieving royalties 50 years later! They showed off BIG TIME on Come to Poppa as well. They did it so good, the Silver bullet band didn't want to try it live. If you hear their live version, you'll understand why they were nervous about playing it live.
Y'all been doin' surveillance on my house again? My Old Lady loves that old time rock and roll. We've been listening to it forty years together, and it moves us now just like it did then. (We just ain't as smooth in the moves as when American Bandstand was on the air. 😄 )
Love that you finally did one of Bob's up-tempo songs. After "Turn the Page", "We've Got Tonight", and "Main Street", I'm glad you're finally seeing his more rockin' side! If you want to continue that trend, I recommend "Hollywood Nights", "Katmandu", "Rock and Roll Never Forgets", "Roll Me Away", and "Shakedown".
I always love your reactions and this one was great.....but then you brought your girls in, and this became my favorite reaction video ever! What a beautiful family and it was so good seeing you all jamming together to an alltime classic song! You should have the girls react with you more often.

I saw Bob Seger two years ago in Indianapolis and he was seventy two years old bouncing around the stage like he was twenty. He sounds just as good live...
I'm 70 so my musical experience goes all the way back to the 50's as my parents always had the radio on and variety shows were a stable on tv. It is great to watch you react to a song I've loved for decades. What drives me crazy is how much you haven't even touched yet!!! I want to drag you to my house and play a thousand songs for you!!!

I'm 70 as well, l think l appreciate how much great music there is each year I get older. I play my 70's vinyl at home, but I do also listen to some more modern stuff in my car on CD'S or mp3 player. It's the early 70's l like the most though, absolutely fantastic time for music, so many great artists/bands producing album after album of superb work. It was the early 60's when I really got into music, listening on my little transistor radio or playing singles on my Dansette record player, happy days!
@@keithjones6023 I'm 71 and enjoy seeing these "kids" discovering what I grew up with, I also love the music of the ww2 years, people standing up to all the fear that fate could throw at them, staying defiant, and hopeful in the face of it all=songs like "in der fuehrer's face, Bless 'em all, white cliffs of Dover, I'll be home for Christmas, and all the others.

One of my favorite memories is while my parents were tucking us into bed one night this song came on the radio and they turned it all the way up and shocked us by dancing 🕺 💃🏼 When I say they danced I mean they danced like they did in the fifties, spinning and kicking! It has always been a wonderful memory every time I hear this song 🎶
What an adorable family moment. Love that the whole family loves Bob. This song could apply even better to today, just give me that old time rock and roll.

You want Bob Seger energy, then you need to react to “Her Strut.” It’s funky, energetic and different! “Roll Me Away” and “Hollywood Nights” are pretty uptempo too.
This is the song the studios picked for Tom Cruise to dance to in his underwear in the movie Risky Business which pretty much launched him into super-stardom. The song was already an amazing piece of music, but with that, it also brought Bob Segar a whole new fan-base almost overnight. It's been a perennial karaoke favorite for singers ever since. And wow! You two beautiful people made some beautiful kids! Congrats!

Certainly one of his top 20 biggest hits he had.
@@sharrongrant6240 Actually Bob Seger did write the lyrics to this song. The music was written by George Jackson and Thomas E. Jones III. I believe the lyrics were uncredited but were written by Seger.

His biggest hit is "Shakedown" from the Beverly Hills Cop 2 soundtrack. My personal favorite is "You'll Accompany Me," which I first heard on the show "Freaks and Geeks."
The lyric "I reminisce about the days of old" reminds me of a song by Bruce Springsteen called Glory Days. Should definitely look into reacting to this one, you'll love it!
What are the odds that talent like Bob, Lynda Ronstadt, Glenn Frey and the Muscle Shoals Rhythm Section would come together in Tiny Sheffield Alabama, along with members of the Eagles, before And after the Eagles broke up! Glenn was here for more than 5 years and made a lot of money while Bob stayed for 10 extremely lucrative years! It was great times for all!
So many songs in his arsenal. He wrote for Kenny Rogers and could do anything. Michigan born native, influenced by Motown and rock and roll. A true gifted artist!
You two brighten my day so much!! I'm having a truly rough one and Amber, when you did that little arm move at the beginning.... I laughed so hard!!! Thank you so much, you two are treasures EDIT: Your girls are little rockers in the making, the youngest has some serious moves!!!!! I love love it!!
There is a band I don’t see too many making reactions to. Try the band called America. Ventura Highway, Horse with no Name, Tin Man, Sister Golden Hair, I Need You, and Lonely People are all great songs. Please give them a listen. Thanks and congratulations on the new addition.
Bob Seger is a genius. Period. Way underrated as a songwriter/performer. COME TO POPPA is a song you guys might like. Although it's a cover of an old blues song, I think. Have you guys done Billy Joel and John Mellencamp yet? Kinda the same "All-Americana" vibe, anyway. It's pronounced Bob Seeger, btw.
This song actually replaced CCR's 'Proud Mary' as the most requested wedding reception song back in the day. Another little gem by Bob is 'Get out of Denver', a fast car driving song to say the least.
J&A, you'll love his "Night Moves", "Hollywood Nights", "The Fire Down Below", "Her Strut" and more!! (the last 3 are bangers!!!)
Excellent suggestions & I would also suggest "Against the Wind", "Like a Rock" & "Roll Me Away".
Yes, yes, yes, and hell yes
"Shakedown" is also a good one that he did for the film "Beverly Hills Cop II".
Don’t forget “Get Out of Denver”.

My thumbs up is for Night Moves. Main Street would be my #2.
Bob Seger or Sayer?
Blame it on the Moon , Like a Rock.
"Night Moves" yeah!

Freaks and Geeks. Only one season but SUCH a great show!
But it’s not the first song you think off when you hear his name
The lyric "I reminisce about the days of old" reminds me of a song by Bruce Springsteen called Glory Days. Should definitely look into reacting to this one, you'll love it!
The girls were great!!
Jay, I'm old guy, but I can honestly say that anything by Bob Seger is pure gold!!!!!
I am enjoying watching Amber jamming to the song. Jay, you definitely need to watch the movie Risky Business
Probably Top Gun, Caddy Shack, and many more as well.. so many great sound tracks in the 80's movies
Thank you so much, you two are treasures
EDIT: Your girls are little rockers in the making, the youngest has some serious moves!!!!! I love love it!!
Bob's a rocker! There's lots more of his stuff you need to listen to!
I absolutely loved this such a beautiful family having fun together so precious
There is a band I don’t see too many making reactions to. Try the band called America. Ventura Highway, Horse with no Name, Tin Man, Sister Golden Hair, I Need You, and Lonely People are all great songs. Please give them a listen. Thanks and congratulations on the new addition.
Another great song by America is You Can Do Magic, it's my favorite.
@@sharonh951 1982. Such a great song. My dad played it in the car constantly. It never gets old.
Against the Wind..... probably his best track.
Turn the Page big time
@@theodoreritola9758 they already did that song a month ago
IM Just saying thats his best song i m o
Those kids made this pure GOLD
Your family just made my whole day great! Thank you girls!!!❤️❤️❤️
Queen, Bob Seeger, Creedence, and Eagles. My top four all time entertainers.
This song actually replaced CCR's 'Proud Mary' as the most requested wedding reception song back in the day. Another little gem by Bob is 'Get out of Denver', a fast car driving song to say the least.
BOB (SEE GER) LOL..GLAD YOU ENJOYED HIM AS MUCH AS I HAVE OVER THE YEARS
THIS was the song that got everyone on the dance floor!
Can't miss with Bob. Every song is amazing.
Have watched several reactions to this classic and great song, but seeing the kids' reaction too makes this the best reaction ever!
This is so sweet, seeing your whole family rocking out to this classic music. Keep teaching them about good music!
Oh my Jay and Amber, one song by Bob Segar that seems to get overlooked is Come to Poppa which is just the funkiest song. Love the family dancing.
Come to Pappa is great
It's Jay and Amber, lol.
Oh yeah ...that one is a banger!...
Or maybe a thumper😊
