That red hot car called The Eliminator is in almost every video of theirs and I've always loved how they appear and disappear in their videos. They're not usually the main people in their videos.

Billy opened for Hendrix (and the Doors) with his psychedelic band, Moving Sidewalks, as a 19 year old guitarist before ZZ Top as well. Pretty cool stuff.
A lot of range. In their early years they were even more raw, and deep in the blues "Waiting for the Bus/Jesus just left Chicago." will give you that "OHH!" face I guarantee! "LaGrange" for a rocker tune, and their most popular early song. 52 years - a HUGE catalog to draw from.
I've probably seen close to 100 arena concerts, and ZZ Top had the best live sound of them all. It was as close to listening to a cd as you could get with actual live music.
The afterburner tour was the first concert I ever went to when I was 9. Hell of a show! Crazy at that age watching the entire band disappear with the guitars spinning in mid air. Probably helped that I got a contact high from the crowd and the lasers were blowing my mind. Love this band!
I'm glad to see younger people enjoy ZZTOP. I have been a fan for years. The car is sick. It is a 32 Ford coupe. Called the eliminator. Built by Billy Gibbons. He has built some wild rides over the years. And he is an amazing guitar player

I saw them two years ago in Melbourne, Florida, on their 50th Anniversary Tour. They still sounded great. Rest in Peace, Dusty. Thanks for all the great music.
Shame to hear about Dusty Hill. ZZ Top we’re one of a kind. This was from their commercial mainstream break through album, where they went from being a band loved in rock circles to global megastars!

What a huge loss for the group. Saw them back in the 80’s. Not a huge fan, but I have much respect for the group. This is a great song. Definitely an 80’s song. LoL
If you want to get in touch with their earlier roots sound, before they went more commercial, you should listen to "Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers." Or "Mexican Blackbird."

Yes. Once asked what it felt like to be the worlds greatest guitarist, Jimi replied "I don't know, you should ask Billy Gibbons."
It’s a shame that most of the world has no idea how good Billy Gibbons is
Really?!
@@Catlady77777, yeah. Jimi actually said that, several times.
FAVORITE ZZ Top song!🎶🎶💯🎶🤩✨✨✨
I've probably seen close to 100 arena concerts, and ZZ Top had the best live sound of them all. It was as close to listening to a cd as you could get with actual live music.
They were very good live I agree. Hands down the LOUDEST concert I’ve ever seen though and I’ve seen Ozzy, GNR etc.
I saw ZZTop in concert. Fun show, straight forward blues and rock.
Rest in Power, Dusty.
'Legs' is the song that got me into ZZT. You should give that a react.
Their song "Tush" features Dusty Hill on lead vocals. It's a great tune.
ZZ Top appeared in Back to the Future 3 as the band in the Western town during the party
Dusty was the man. Saw them live some years back, “The Biggest little Band in the World”. They we’re a blast live, moved all over the stage in step. A little Texas Boggy ** Another factoid. There guitarist (Billy Gibbons)was one of the two favorite guitarist of Jimmy Hendrix , the other is Terry Kath of Chicago**
Another factoid: Jimmy Hendrix spelled his first name "Jimi".
The guitar in Just Got Back from Baby's is unforgettable. So much feeling in such a simple guitar line. My favorite ZZ Top song. A lost treasure.
They got me slapped. I'm around 10 singing about give a girl a pearl necklace .my cousin smacked me upside the head telling i shouldn't be saying that. I had no clue.
At least you weren't singing!! I knew a girl who lived on the hill she won't do it but her sister will she did the Boogie she did the Tube Steak Boogie.🤣🤣
@@christinebarraza2207 i would've got slapped for that too. It was bad enough she told my mother. It was probably 4 years later i understood that the necklace was. So naive. I was always the last to get the double entendres
I didn't have to worry about my mom slapping me for singing Tunes like that she's the one that introduced me to ZZ Top🤣🤣🤣. She was the one singing the Tube Steak Boogie around the house. My daddy must have kept her real happy😂😂😂
😂😂😂
😂🤣😂🤣
Rock n Roll will never die thanks to you guys 🥰
What a great tribute to Dusty Hill. Excellent!
I was completely surprised to hear that he passed. They always gave me the impression, or feeling that they were almost one entity, a “unit”; or super highly connected-almost like conjoined twins. Oddly though, that specific feeling wasn’t a real thought before Dusty passed-I always just felt “something “. Today I realized that this “feeling “ could be put into words. Legendary men. RIP
This was Jimi hendrix's favorite guitar player, Billy Gibbons. Rest in peace Dusty.
RIP Dusty. These guys were at their biggest while I was in High School. They are part of who I am.
These 2 are amazing! I’ve watched so many reaction videos, and these 2 are the best! So original and never fake! Thank you for just being ‘real’.❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
I've been to, at least, one Top concert every decade since the 70's. Year in and year out, most fun you'd ever have at a show. Dusty Hill's passing is devastating. I'm so grateful I was able to see them in 2019.
"Velcro Fly" is another fun one of theirs.
Best concert I have EVER attended was ZZ Top, and Charlie Daniels Band.
The crazy thing is they really weren't old when this song came out. In their early 30s. Crazy how a long ass beard can make a man look 60 years old.
I saw them two years ago in Melbourne, Florida, on their 50th Anniversary Tour. They still sounded great. Rest in Peace, Dusty. Thanks for all the great music.
ANOTHER LEGEND PASSES, RIP DUSTY, MUCH RESPECT AND LOVE FOR WHAT YOU GAVE US IN MUSIC, AWESOME!
If you like some blues, try ZZ Top's "Fool for Your Stockings". Probably my favorite.
Shame to hear about Dusty Hill. ZZ Top we’re one of a kind. This was from their commercial mainstream break through album, where they went from being a band loved in rock circles to global megastars!
Love you guys for this fitting tribute to Dusty Hill, glad you liked the song ,it's 38 years old now
How refreshing to see people seeing music for what it is. Hopefully there is still some hope in the world. I like your stuff (y)
I was growing up in the eighties, and ZZ Top was one of the most Iconic bands I have ever heard! They were incredible! RIP Dusty Hill.
It’s sad that we usually end up giving someone their flowers after they are gone. I wish we could do it more while they were alive. RIP Dusty. 🙏🎸
This hit hard. Thank you.
Never got to meet Dusty, even though he lived in my neighborhood. So sad.
Nation Wide is one of their most underrated songs
Love ZZ TOP 😍 their music never gets old to me!
That's why we love ya I'm from Texas stevie Ray pantera and DUSTY Hill
They were also brilliant at setting just the right temp for a number!
Lead guitarist Billy Gibbons, also appeared in several episodes of “Bones”
As good of players as they all three are, they never take themselves too seriously.
Just Got Paid! Tube Snake Boogie, Beer drinkers Hell raisers !
I like those songs to but I also like Cheap Sunglasses😜😎😎
As a proud Texan myself I’ve been a zz fan for 9 years saw them twice this song y’all reacted to will always be my #1 favorite song
those 3 little boys from Texas that turned fur covered guitars cool cars and hot chicks into an art form all its own
they personified cool in every sense of the word losing Dusty was a hard blow to them and all their fans
I am so very glad you two did this one and enjoyed it so much any of their songs I think you would enjoy
if another band ever shows up that broke as much ground as these three ever come along I would love to see and hear them
What a huge loss for the group. Saw them back in the 80’s. Not a huge fan, but I have much respect for the group.
This is a great song. Definitely an 80’s song. LoL
... Their voices are seasoned ... Just realized Robert Palmer applied his sound from ZZ Top ...
The drummer, who has no beard, his name is Frank Beard. Go figure.
RIP Dusty - thanks for all the awesome music … great tribute.
Growing up you could always count on ZZTop to give you feelings! They all are great men. R.I.P. Dusty
If you want to get in touch with their earlier roots sound, before they went more commercial, you should listen to "Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers." Or "Mexican Blackbird."
"Mexican Blackbird" will get you canceled in today's society!💯😤🤬🤣 RIP Dusty.....😭💔
@@tomaleshire4145 At my advanced years I will be "permanently cancelled" soon enough.
@@michaelstogsdill6989 I feel you bro', I turned 69 in March! In the late 60's/early 70's I though the drugs would kill me. Couple of bad car wrecks put me in the hospital over the years, got a titanium hip from one of 'em. Then a heart attack in 2017 almost got me, 3 stints in there now. And of course I thought Covid would get me for sure. I've had COPD for over a decade and still smoke a pack a day plus lots of legal medical marijuana. But hey, I've survived so far and am vaccinated now. Being a survivor while friends, family, rock 'n roll heroes, and other famous people I admire are gone kinda sucks but I guess the Lord isn't done with me yet. Stay strong bro'.😁❤✌
@@tomaleshire4145 Half blind stroke survivor here. Just turned 66. Since bro Dusty Hill passed I have revisited some early ZZ Top and still moved by the groove they produced. How freaking good is "Francine" from "Rio Grande Mud!" I blasted that tune. Keep well brother.
@@michaelstogsdill6989 I'm retired, usually sleep all day and jam at night. Was listening to TH-cam Wednesday and saw a RIP Dusty. I thought it was click bait but went to Google just to check. Broke my fucking heart!😥 Spent the rest of the night and most of the next day listening to Z Z Top's First Album,🔥 Tres Hombres,🔥 Rio Grande Mud🔥 and Fandango.🔥 Smoked a couple of joints and drank 4 Dos Equis Amber (a Mexican brew)!🤭 Last time I cried this hard was when Stevie Ray Vaughn 🇨🇱🐐 died. God bless Billy Gibbons and Frank Beard....RIP Dusty...😭💔🇨🇱✌❤
"That little ol band from Texas!" Bikers loved ZZTOP the Superbowl half time show had twenty Harleys circling the stage..let's put American music back in the halftime show!
RIP Dusty!
"Party On The Patio" is another legit ZZ Top jam that's appropriate for when you got friends over and you're having fun.
Dusty shouts the -paint- stucco off the condo walls with that one!
@@RideAcrossTheRiver Hell yeah he does.
@@BIGBLOCK5022006 Have you heard "Loaded"?
@@RideAcrossTheRiver Nope but I will check it out.
@@BIGBLOCK5022006 Dusty doing his Elvis impression!
Billy Gibbons is my favorite of the entire band love that man. Awesome reaction.
Man...I'm shaken up a bit by the passing of Dusty Hill. One of my childhood rock heroes is gone. R.I.P. God bless, amen.
