Me and girl a were all over each other through text - calling each other cute, good banter, quick response time. She really wanted to meet up at uni, but I didnt realise was she was with her friends, and that through me off. I was awkward, she was carrying the conversation and I was so nervous as I felt like I couldn't be myself with them there judging me. I texted her a few hours later wanting to catch up privately in a more natural setting, she gave a vague response, and thats when I knew I could tell she felt it was awkward too. So I messaged her being honest saying I was awkward as I felt like I couldnt be myself in front of her friends. She responded saying conversation flow is important to her and is glad I brought it up and would like to hang out again if that first interaction isn't what I;m usually like. So we will see if she does want to hang out again :/
I got out of an awkward first date that started off bad already. From some of the questionable things that were said to awkward silences. Not knowing she usually quiet my mood completely shuts off and switched completely. I didn't bother engaging and I just chatted less and sent her home short while after. How I felt going home was horrible but I sent a text saying I'm sorry on my end

omg basically my first date went bad because i acted like a try hard making bad jokes and i acteed like dumb and goofy so now im gonna text him and i will say that i smoked weed 😂😂😂 i know it’s sounds crazy but its my only excuse so let’s see what happens
can i get some help? so me and this girl were talking for abt 2 weeks and we were doing really good, we’d ft a lot, we’d watch movies together on call and we’d text a lot then we went on our first date yesterday. we went to the mall and i totally sucked ass. first off her friend came which i only knew a day before which was nerve racking and made it a bit more awkward. and her grandma went to the hospital so she was having a bad day bc of that. she didn’t talk much and she kept saying she was having a bad day so i kinda distanced myself but i still did talk and try and make jokes. when she was leaving i was straight up and told her that i was having a bad day and that i was sorry that me and her didn’t talk as much as i’d like. she said that she was having a bad day bc of her grandma and everything and i said i’m sorry and we hugged twice then she left. i sent her a snap like an hour after and asked why we didn’t go a place saying it was cool and she just left the snap on open. then i was just straight up abt it and told her that i was nervous and that i’m sorry that i wasn’t acting myself and she told me that she thought she was ready for a relationship but she’s actually not and that she didn’t like that i bought her something and she thought i was trying to buy her love and she said that she has a lot going on and she thinks it’s best to leave everyone out of it. i just told her that she looked good and to have a goodnight but she’s not really responding to anyone so at this point i’m just letting it be. is there anything i can do to fix it? i already know that she’s not ready for a relationship bc the date went bad. any advice at all?
