    505 is a wonderful product. I use it for machine quilting my small projects. My hint is that a little goes a long way. I would use less than half of the amount you sprayed on the project bag. It also lasts on your project for many, many days in case you don't get to it right away.

    • @staceyleecreative
      @staceyleecreative  ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Cheryl, thank you for sharing your tip about using 505 spray for machine quilting small projects! I agree that it is a wonderful product, and I appreciate your suggestion to use less than the amount I sprayed on the project bag. It's always helpful to know that a little goes a long way, and that the spray can last on the project for many days. Thanks again for your comment and happy quilting!

    I have a 15" quilting rulers, which I worry is going to get a little beat up when I have to use my table. Also, hate to prop it up against anything for fear it may develop a bow or bend in it. I think a large one of the bags may be a good storage place provided I remember to not place anything on top of the bag with the ruler still in it. Thank you for sharing this tutorial 👍🏼

    Hi Stacy I think there’s a mistake in the cutting instructions or I am confused. If the vinyl is only cut at 14x14 square as you advise how can the 16inch long zipper strips be attached. Shouldn’t the vinyl be 14x16? Thanks

    • @staceyleecreative

    You used too much spray glue. All you need is a spot spray here and there. I use 505 all the time but sparingly. Too much glue mucks up your needle unless you use a non-stick needle. Schmetz makes nonstick needles. Lovely project bag. Ill try your method! Thanks.
