your daughter rachel is an extrodinary gifted musician and her talents would certainly make the late keith emerson proud.
She lives through her music. She trusts someone to guide her to the piano and then she plays it to fine her place. But her place is at the piano and then she is in her world. Luckily she can invite many people into her world where she can share her music. I will never get to see her since I quit flying in 2011 for the climate, but if she comes to Switzerland I would love to hear her. Also give her my advice on exercises and treatments her amazing upper extremities since it is important to be centered on the pelvis with the shoulders relaxed to allow the hands to play that music.

The video work is awesome and Rachel looks very pretty. Of course as always her raw talent is on full display. Its great when she smiles, you know here is a woman working hard, and having a great time doing it.
I bought the CD, and it is amazing. Rachel you are my new favorite musician, and that's coming from someone who saw ELP at Madison Square Garden in 1977...I love the way you react to applause, it's so sweet. You and your music have touched my heart!

I can't believe that was Rachel's FIRST solo concert, but I am so glad that it was attended very well, the audience looked very happy, the stage was extremely nicely decorated (with a carpet on the floor as well!) and Rachel looked beautiful.

Philip Chadwick I must admit that I was surprised at this. I was sure that Rachel must have performed as a solo artist before. I know, as you most certainly do, that she has been on radio programmes (not sure about TV), so ..... well, we could wonder away for the next year and never know :)

Two things that made an agnostic out of a non-believer. , Mozart's music and watching Rachel play. There is no rational explanation for such excellence. It's hard not to get emotional watching her and the sheer joy she brings with her abilities. And the most beautiful part is the inner joy she projects and also finds for herself. I play a bit myself but I could never dream of becoming this accomplished. All the practice in the world could not bring that about.

Sounds like an original Flowers piece influenced by Mr Emerson??? Awesome performance!!!
That's not completely correct... Malambo is a subgenre of argentinan folk music and the fact is that Emerson was highy incluenced by Ginastera (as an example, listen to Tocatta in Brain Salad Surgery), an argentinean composer . So although it sounds Emerson-ish, the original influene comes from other side, as always happened in music, nothing is 100% original. Rachel brillant as always!
