Chris, its important to mention that the small 1.5mm allen key used to adjust the power setting as described, should be turned ANTI clockwise (quarter of a turn at a time) to increase spring pressure & power & the reverse is obvious. Small point BUT important.

There is a very good reason I DO NOT discuss adjusting power on sub 12 air rifles.
12 lbs Fx Maverick is like a Ferrari with 50 horsepower. 🤦♂️🙏
Very much so but restricted by UK law without a Firearms Certificate. I have one along with many rimfire and centre rifles but still appreciate sub 12 for when I need it and there is plenty of shooting in the UK for sub 12 air if that's your goal.
@AIR GUN MAD ,UNREAL rair comment, if I want more than 12, I use other guns which are overall, more reliable and a lot cheaper to buy and fuel in the long run, no fuss with air bottles etc
How adaptable is the Maverick for left-handed shooters?

hi Chris,I own a maverick.25 fac and using jsb 34 g,my question is would slugs damage the a smooth twist barrel and do I have to buy a slug liner to shoot say h and n 36 grain slugs.keep up the good work my friend.👍

Hello, I have the FAC FX Maverick ,25 I use Zan slugs 33 grn, in the standard barrel as fitted from the factory. No slug liner = NO trouble al all. It has been tuned to develop 65ftp & 995-1002fps.
It is important to remember to re-zero your scope every time you change ammunition, so its a good idea to avoid the faff & stick to what works !

What Reg pressures do you have there? Something not right, i should bem more accurate anyway
it's a sub 12 ft-lb version with very little tunability
