*Great reel, **enjoyable.fishing** recommend very smooth and I love that you can change from left hand to right hand so easily. Gave it a 4 on durability because I haven’t had it long enough to rate it. Doing good so far.*
Thanks dude. I started the channel a little over a year ago. It was a slow start but I can see my growth rate starting to pick up. It used to take me 2-3 weeks to pick up 10 new subs, now I'm picking that up in 2-3 days. Next goal, start picking up 10 per day.
@@dieseldoesfishing5358 in Sweden where I live people usually use 7 to 9 ft rods because gädd fiske (northern pike fishing) is very popular and we also got pretty big bass to. The lake where I fish I usually get 1 to 1.5 kg or 2 to 3 lb bass and 2kg to 3 kg or 4 to 6 lb pike
That’s amazing. I’ve never been pike fishing. I’m too far south in the US to get many cold water species. We have large mouth, some small mouth in the mountain rivers, catfish and bream. Not far enough south to start getting snake heads, snook, or bowfin though.
True real fisherman spin never use less 7.5 up 9. That makes almost 100 percent equipment useless. Eagle claw pack it 7'6 mountain trout awesome or gotta go steelhead rods
The rod broke on me trying to horse in a cat with it, but the reel is still going strong on another pole. Catching 4' tarpon with this reel. Excellent budget reel guys.
Honestly it depends on what you’re fishing for. If you’re putting it on an 8 ft rod I’d assume you’re using it for catfish or big crank baits. In which case, yeah go bigger.
It should be. With a medium rod just run lighter line than I had. I’d say 8-12lb. I just happened to have 16 lb with me. It was really too heavy but I didn’t want to go buy line just for a test.
I have this reel and it’s alright, but there are so much more better reels out there for the price range. The Shimano sienna for the same price is superb, and kastking makes plenty more reels that are also cheaper but better.
It's just a title. I certainly haven't tested everything in this price range. I am about to do a test of the Daiwa Laguna 4000-5BI though (that I'll also be giving away) so we'll see how they run compared to each other. It retails between $35 and $50 depending on where you shop.
I assume it would be fine. I’m not sure I don’t saltwater fish. But depending on what you’re fishing for it might not accept large enough line. Just make sure you clean it really well.

Can’t believe you only have 500 subscribers! Great video and video quality! I bought this reel myself thanks for the info!
I was wrong 400 subscribers? Keep it up man you’re gonna go far.

Ive owned my 30 series for 3 years now with zero issues. Im starting to develope some noise in the gears, but that maybe because it needs some oil.
What you think about an Ugly stik and black max 30 combo? What kind of line can I put on this one if I decide to buy it?
30lb braid with a flouro leader

The Okuma Stratus VI is on sale at Dick’s for $30. I have both the V and the VI and they are amazing spinning reels. Great vid!
Very nice!
how is the size? I see you have the 30 with a 6 f rod. I have an 8 f rod, will a 40 will be ok?

Thank you for sharing !! I have the same reel in 10 size , I am impresed .
For the price point it’s solid
@@dieseldoesfishing5358 I totally agree , better to spend more money in a good rod , this reel is doing it job anyway .
Hi what rod are you using thanks
Will this reel be fine with a 7 foot medium pole? Great vid by the way

DieselDoesFishing okay thanks I’m either gonna buy this spinning reel or the black max bait caster
@@bj-ko9fu I have both. Obviously I've used the baitcaster a lot more. To be honest it's performed really really well.
DieselDoesFishing ight thanks man

Use mine for back bay fishing thanks 😊
Am I going crazy or are your guides off center?
I’ll check. This was only the second time I fished this setup. The rod was given to me.
This reel use in saltwater
