Make the Most Out of Your Drum Breaks

In this video I'm sampling a drum break and making little drum kit. I made this video as requested by a viewer, on how I sample and process drum samples.
I'm walking you through my process of chopping the drum break in pro tools with strip silence and processing the sounds with Izotope's Neutron Elements. In the end I test out the sounds in a beat, using Native Instruments' Maschine MK3.

the Air Transient effect on the newer MPCs can get you through this process much faster...it takes alot of the Air out of samples and makes yours drums snap or hit harder
