Thanks! And thanks for the support! The 416? Yeah I just don’t use it much, doesn’t sound good indoors which is where I record a 100% of the time 😂

@@ambrushadam Yeah the 416.. I though it sounded good both in/outdoors, but indoors if you have a somewhat treated room. I was looking into the Oktava for quite a while and from nowhere it disappeared.. hmm.. something to do with russia/ukraine? 🤔 Now I have the SE8, but I often use lav mics.

@@BoombapArt for 416 indoors it should be treated yeah, otherwise it sounds a little off and its super narrow pickup pattern isnt too good recording yourself - move a little bit to the side and you will sound different. Anything cardioid or supercardiod is good, don’t have any experience with the se8. I heard rode nt 5 is supposed to be super clean though.
