- 1952ஆம் ஆண்டு, வடக்கு குஜராத்தின் பிரம்மவாடா பகுதியில் பிறந்த யசோதாபென், 1968ஆம் ஆண்டு, நரேந்திர மோதியை திருமணம் செய்தார்.
தற்போதும் அதே கிராமத்தில் தனது இளைய சகோதரருடன் வசித்துவரும் அவர், ஒரு முன்னாள் பள்ளி ஆசிரியை.
2014ஆம் ஆண்டு, பிபிசிக்கு அளித்த பேட்டியில், திருமணமான சில நாட்கள் மட்டுமே தன்னோடு மோதி இருந்தார் என்றும், வேலை நிமித்தமாக வெளியே சென்ற மோதி, பின்பு திரும்பி வரவே இல்லை என்றும் அவர் தெரிவித்தார்.
