Damaged switch Excessive wear and tear Low battery
I rebuilt the shrapnel of the switch, sanded and polished the exterior after cleaning, replaced the lithium battery, and rebuilt the charging port.

I recently bought a new Makita DF012 E screwdriver, they must have the same screw in/out buttons mechanism just like this Panasonic one. Now I know what to do when it fails. Thank you sir.

Nobody seems to know on the net & the Service manual does not list any specific lubrication types.
