    Thanks man. My originals are 20 years old and just blew up! So freakin loud the whole neighborhood hit the deck.

    It just took me 5 hours to do 1 side, the bottom bolt was so rusted to the bushing I had to get everything red hot with the torch. Still didn’t fix my problem, my truck isn’t sitting level, it’s a little lower in the back.

      Have you tried checking your height sensor?

      Same here, just tried to replace mine today and no luck, but I noticed in this video the bolts look newer. I could not take mine off to save my life, I think I’m taking it to the shop maybe they can cut them off or something.

    Thanks for the video. I will be changing mine soon. I have a 2012 with 85,000 miles and the ones on their now are original. I am having trouble getting my air suspension to fill them up right now so I believe they are seized and/or have leaky air bags since they are pretty weathered. Relay, Height sensor, Compressor all test good so we will see.

    Great video! Is your Armada Platinum 4WD? Arnott is telling us their part is only for 4WD.

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, it was 2wd. The rear shocks are the same for 2wd or 4wd.

    I did the exact same replacement, however, the push in quick connect is leaking on both shocks. Did a soap test and air bubbles coming out between the metal housing and the metal fitting that pushes in to release the air line. Air is not coming out where the air line goes into the quick connect. Very slow leak, but after a couple days the compressor kicks on to re-level. Arnott is sending me two replacements. Did you have this problem at all? You didn't replace your air lines did you? I will update once I swap out the warranty parts and see if it was just a bad set of shocks. I will admit, it does ride better with the Arnotts.

      I am having the exact same issue. Did the replacement ones work without leaking again?

      Mine are doing the same thing. Let us know if the replacement ones fix the problem.

    How have these held up since installing? It’s the Arnott Suspension Air Strut/Shocks AS-3284, correct?

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes they are the Arnott, they are doing great. I put the link for the Nissan OEM and the Arnot in the description. The OEM is not much more.

    Did the shock replacement solve this problem?

    • @chuckmcdanel3137
      @chuckmcdanel3137 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      I’m having the same problem but the dealer said the shocks are ok. I’d rather not spend $300 for new shocks if it didn’t resolve the floating issue in the back end. I also replaced the front stouts a year ago but I think it’s still floating to much in the front also.

    What size adapter does it take to put air in the air suspension

    • @737mechanic
      @737mechanic  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      The only way the suspension is aired up is with the compressor.
