Its not the bass line, its the melodic idea. Its very possible Vivaldi heard the Water Music Suite and was inspired, iirc Handels composition came before this one
@@bornaerceg9984 yes but that doesn't diminish the possibility that Vivaldi could have heard the Water Music Suite and been inspired if the dates line up.again I think Water Music was written around 10 years before this composition? I know Handel spent around 10 years in Rome to learn to write opera before being hired by English Royalty, where he wrote Water Music. It's very possible Vivaldi heard his music and vice versa through each of their travels, as Vivaldi traveled quite frequently to perform. Great composers steal ideas all the time from one another! 🥳
