    Anybody else having issues with GX Speed mode or just me? Not sure if it’s a hardware or software issue, but I’ve been having issues with the clicks getting stuck when activated and not getting deactivated for a few seconds. So in other words my mouse1 gets activated and shoots for a good 3 seconds or so. Only happens on gx speed mode.

      Compared to DAv3 this has better shape (totally subjective ofc), better coating, mechanical switches, easier to mod and included grips. This should be much better unless you prefer palm grip, love opticals or have very big hands, then Deathadder is the way to go.

    Is it just me am I the jaded one for saying we have a bit of an obsession now for everything to be wireless because the market has been flooded with all these wireless mice? Reason I say that is many now looked at a wired mouse and give it the red headed step child treatment and sent to the corner. Of course each implementation has its own advantages, I would argue wired still holds the crown for a few reasons.
    I have both wired and wireless, Pulsar x2 mini, Pulsar og, Sora 4k. I don't care what these companies say about their wireless tech, a wire will always provided the fastest, stable connection. You never need to charge the battery, I would argue even that the freedom you can have with no wire, providing there is a good implementation of the cord how it sits into the mouse and if you have an adequate bungie, the metrics would be negligible between the two.
    Easier to make lightweight without having to completely alter the shell. Also because I have had this issue with all of my wireless mice, being they run on 2.4ghz, I run wifi 6 on one computer and the other is cat7. Anytime there is a lot of downloading or uploading all the mice start stuttering until i plug them in and are not using the network anymore. This is not to say it happens to everybody but it is an issue. Not crapping on wireless, I own some. Just saying don't forget about the past, still a lot of benefits there so much so I would argue you get more benefits and less potential issues versus what convivence you get from wireless.

      @drewmorg6446 I mean if someone is used to wireless and has low sensitivity it might be hard to use wires but there's still plenty of people who prefer wired even if it wasn't cheaper. And of course you don't need to charge it and it's lighter than the wireless equivalent.

    • @IStratz
      @IStratz 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      @drewmorg6446 It's up to you really. If it were me, I would take into account sensor latency, shape, weight, and price. Then I decide off of that. This ticks all those boxes for me, but your priorities might be different. If you have unlimited cash and want the best of the best, viper mini signature has a 3950 sensor which is under exclusivity for a few more months. So nobody else can beat razer in sensor latency. And it's wireless. But also 300 dollars. I also don't like the shape.

    this thing look incredible my friend. i play so much on my mouse. i open everyone in last 10 years and try to improve them always, with weight, shape or click. The Last Time i sawed my mm720 smaller and reshape sche again. But here, i really dont know what to improve. You can only try to change some switches. I dont exactly understand why they dont using at all mice, this optical switches... but ok maybe they tryed to safe some money.
    I dont need 8k, i like the normal Op1 in white. I not understand why the op1-we has different sensor. But you forget to say somehting about this skatez. How they are? Can you put some Superglides on this?
    Ok, Only one thing would be cool at this mouse, maybe lower the 118mm shape to 105-112mm, more for a finger-claw grip.
    But this look really really good. im waiting for the TecGuidePower Sensor Testing reviews, hope they program the sensor CPI good.

    why is this considered to be faster than razer / m2k?

    • @IStratz
      @IStratz 8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      M2K supposedly had the lowest click latency with 110 microseconds tested on the XLAT per OptimumTech's testing. The OP1 8K was tested on an XLAT with an average of 70ish microseconds. Sensor latency wise though, we don't really know if it's going to be the fastest. Razer still has the edge on sensor tech because they have exclusivity with Pixart for the 3950 sensor (one generation ahead of the 3395 which is what everyone else is using). So it's probably unlikely that this will have lower sensor latency than Razer's most up to date mice. Rtings will probably do some testing for the OP1 8K in the next couple of months which will give us initial movement sensor latency, middle movement latency, and end movement latency.

      The Razer mice basically always have an edge because they get exclusive 1 year early-access to the newest pixart sensors. The viper mini signature has been on a 3950 sensor while everyone else is on the "older" 3395's (I think the one year mark for the 3950's is in a few months, so then new mice will come out with those). So most likely the viper signature is still probably going to have slightly lower sensor latency numbers compared to this. But I would imagine it's probably right beneath the viper signature and GPX 2 in terms of sensor latency. Rtings will have sensor latency numbers for it most likely in a few months. @@Max-ss2gy

    can we stop arguing that cables are used at all by the mainstream at this point. im sorry but this is a L release

      Wireless was only mainstream a few years ago. Before that it was literally only wired mice. If you think having the lowest latency mouse on the market for 70 dollars is an L release, then I don't think you know what you are talking about.

      I just went back from wireless to wired because of this launch.
