Buenas tardes tengo una motora que tiene el mismo problema cuando le quite la tapa del stator estaba lleno de aceite
Awesome video, thanks a lot.
Thank you so much. Great video.
Bro What is the coil gauge?
(Brown + green) 825ohms
Sorry its been a while since I worked on that. Im not sure
Primary coil
Great video. Thank you. I got a project xt225 and this looks like my problem. Except my wiring is dogs breakfast because the previous owner was not good at this.
Thanks for the compliment. Best of luck to ya!
@@blackmasta71 Well your video was very handy. May I ask where you purchased your stator? So far stator is toast, pick up coil, and ignition coil. :( OEM stuff is stupid expensive thinking aliexpress sourcing.
@@NoSkillzMoto check out Ali express. That's where mine came from. They don't last as long but sure is way cheaper
Sounds like a bike!
Dad will be back in the blue berry patch now!
I am getting .7-.9 m on the white wires.
Bike fires once with choke pulled. Then nothing. Just keeps turning over.
I believe the white wires are for your charging circuit.
If you have spark then you probably have a dirty carb.
Although a spark plug about to fowel will spark out of the bike but not under compression.
Try a new plug and then proceed with cleaning the carb
@@blackmasta71 brand new carb And plug. :-/

A new carb usually needs the air/fuel screw adjusted.
Do you have continuous spark?
Do a compression test to make sure your over 100psi.
If lower it can be very hard to start.
Make sure you have good fuel flow to the carb.
@@blackmasta71 thanks, spark seems intermittent to me. Compression testing now. Like I said, Pull choke, try to start, bike fires once, then nothing. If i let it sit long enough it will fire once again. Chasing this problem has resulted in… New cdi, new ignition coil, new battery, carb, ignition switch, rectifier…
