Hey that’s me! I felt so bad at first when he wanted Rein and I never play rein 😂 it was awesome to play in this and Tikatee is insane with his coaching! The comeback was insane, but I definitely have to give much credit to our supports, the Lucio stall was insane and that bap window is what gave me that damage for the 3K. Ggs to those that played, love being in this community💕
nah. if anything, you did your job by not being able to fulfill all his requirements. which is what the average bronze is. you're not gonna be experienced with all heroes, that's the whole point.
you did soo good tho, i was supporting Tikatee's team from the beginning, his coaching was insane, those tb plays were just some bigbrain shit XD, and like you said the last fight was something else, it was an amazing 3k from you and the stall from the slippery lucio and the support of that wonderful site of the window from bap, everything worked out perfectly, what a come back, cheer...!!!
this just goes to show that even at the lowest rank, many players still have a lot of potential with improvement in their game sense!! this was super fun to watch
Ehh it was still a clusterfuck and none of these players would make it in plat let alone gold. They have A LOT to learn in terms of actions per minute and streamlining their gameplay.
Most bronze players are bronze because they can't think and play the game at the same time. Having someone else think for them helped them, but the moment this ended they went right back to being braindead.
It's all about the communication and coordination, if you trickle/stagger in you make it harder for a full team fight/retake. Every lobby should have someone in voice doing this, but sadly ego/toxicity can happen; doesn't help that players are discouraged to even talk in voice.
Hey I was the Lucio (shyhook) it was fun to be in this video and then the stall had me laughing and the coaches were fun to work with and yess I mass up the ultimate
This…this is the most beautiful thing I’ve ever seen in my entire life. I hope that these players can learn from this experience, cause this is nothing short of INCREDIBLE!
This has to be the best overwatch video ever. I hope it becomes a series. Maybe you could do a mini tournament with different coaches each with their own team of Bronzes.
insane how good coaching and teamplay makes overwatch shine.. this was way better overwatch gameplay in bronze than ive ever seen in diamond ranked. these guys played incredibly well and the coaching was so cool to listen to thanks so much for this jay
I'm actually impressed with how well the bronze players followed the instructions and played as a team. Honestly, I think they could give diamond and plat player a run for their money playing like this.
@@stephanis2468I am a diamond player and there are no coms and most people still don't know what high ground is, there are plenty of heroes that don't need a high mechanical skill to play. Those bronze players could easily give plats a good game without mechanical skill.
@@bigfudge2031Nah but they feeding so hard out of position all the time. Coach can’t manage every player every second, they need a little more basic positioning (like go behind cover)
@@stephanis2468 well yeah, I agree with. But however, everyone starts somewhere. Mechanics are important, but game sense, positioning, and teamwork matter just as much, if not more, especially in Overwatch 2. Improving mechanics comes with time and practice, and even pros had to grind through ranks to get where they are today
When a bronze game plays out like a OWL game it just proves how much better the experience is when you play together, strategize as a team, and combo ults. What makes the average games bad is everyone trying to play the solo hero.
This is such a good video, not only do the bronze players get an experience into the minds of pro players but pro players have to try to get into the mindset of bronze players. At 10:45 it for some reason was enlightening to see that the pro didn't want to commit resources to an almost lost fight, but for bronzes, an Orisa ult could be enough to turn the fight around.
i dont ever comment on videos as a youtube lurker, but i have to say Jay, this video is quality. As a content creator you're doing it right. Thank you for the entertainment. I hope your family is proud of what you've accomplished.
By far my favorite video I've seen on yours. this has been so exciting and seeing the improvement for bronze players with some direction is so cool! need to see a tournament of this!
This is a fun social experiment. I'm surprised at how well bronzes can play when they have direction from people that know what they're doing. Just goes to show: aim is important, but Overwatch is more about game sense, positioning, strategy, mental. I hope we could do more of these; I learned a lot about playing on King's Row in this game. Well played by everyone!
I don't know how possible it is and how many owl or ex owl coaches you know like this but genuinely I think all of us would like to see more. I'm a masters player have killed even you on widow a few times but for low rank even high rank players hearing how an overwatch coach thinks and how they ult track/make clear calls to flip map would help ALOT of people😊
I’ve been watching you for a while, Jay, and this was some of the best, most interesting content you’ve ever put out. OWL coaches are awesome but you should do some with streamers, too. ML7 vs Karq. Flats vs Emongg. Jay3 vs Wanted.
This is one of the coolest videos of yours I've seen. Awesome to see how great the coaches are and how much better a bronze match can look with coordination like that!
Blizzard should let spectators be assigned to a coach slot on a team, and let them ping. This way coaches can ping spots for their teams to see visbly on the map...
In order for that to work, we need someone who can enter voice chat as the guy who gives orders. Overwatch mic already has screamers who rage if you don’t listen to them, the last thing you want is a person in team voice chat who has no stake in coaching a team screaming cause the team they are coaching aren’t listening to them.
@@Jose_Ruiz932 i mean specifically only for custom arcade games like this video's, where youd assume everyone is already on the same page. What you are talking about is how people act in QP...heh
There are two heroes that can stall while the rest of the team is joining and thats Lucio and Wrecking ball, its a pain to kill those targets when they dont wanna get hit, but wants to stay on point. Very fun match to watch, makes the bronze players look like plat for sure when being instructed by top ranked Coaches.
On King’s Row, pretty sure he decided to brig ult even though “dry fight” because they baited the enemy ults early, only one caught out was Zar but rest were safe so it was worth the gamble despite being one down
I thought that the live coaching might be a bit too much but all of the players did so well and were able to execute on the instructions almost perfectly. If you hadn't told me they were bronze... well I might have figured it out but they definitely played better than me.
If someone showed me this gameplay without telling me they were getting coached I would've confidently said they were plat maybe diamond just based off of game sense
You should try a owl coach with a bronze team versus a plat team with normal comms. and then even scale higher like a diamond team with an owl coach vs a gm 5 team with coms

"My Orisa is decent" - Proceeds to get a game winning 3k at the end! More than decent!
mate, how are you still bronze! You should easily be able to climb.

Bro these coaches straight up playing a real time strategy game at this point. Actually seems hella fun
This was one of my favorite ones ever, and getting to do it with one of my best friends made it even better. ❤️
Gg bro
I hope we see more. I like this coach vs coach scenario.
This was an absolute blast, thanks so much for having me in! Shoutout to the best players bronze has ever seen on my team 💪

@somewhattoxic4661 I feel like if the quality of life of the Ranked system was better than that could possibly motivate ppl to talk
If every game wasnt hell being ruled over by support characters I would enjoy being in vc a bit more

you know TF2 was originally going to have a General role that would have been like this.... good to see stuff like this....
that was actually an exciting game
