This video didn't exactly reach the quality mark I was hoping for. Audio cutting has many imperfections and some explanations may be a bit confusing, apologies for those mistakes. My voice was also shaky so that wasn't great either. I will work towards more consistency in the production of these videos in the future.
Really liked ur analysis of ssg brawl, ive always known that landon is the engine that keeps the ssg brawl going but its really nice to see it in action so well, on top of that ur breaking down of the elements of brawl was spot on, being able to pick up on players out of position is your best way to win the brawl 1 to 1
You good, sound quality is fine, everything is clear. If you wanted to improve, what I'd like to see is more analysis converted into coaching. Breaking down complex situations into easy to remember rules and checklists. Not that you don't already, I'm just greedy for knowledge. Just being able to understand pro thought processes makes watching pros SOOOO much more valuable.
You pointing out how he trusted his tank with his nemesis form blew my mind. I know it’s something that’s probably obvious, but that changed my whole perspective of playing baptiste. Thanks for the analysis once again keep up the great work
its a good concept on support to have especially if you are playing a character with extra impactful abilities that cant just spam out healing. A lot of low elo brigs for example just spam packs on their tank every time they are below 100% hp. Having a bit of faith that your other support will do their job can open up so many more opportunities by just not wasting cds. Also can be seen with mercy players spam healing tanks all game even though you never pick that character for its healing output (and outlines another concept called ult economy mercy constantly stealing ult charge when teammates arent in danger only hinders your team like denying your ana a quicker nano)
These single map single player breakdowns are AMAZING. They’re so efficient, point out so many of the things that a player needs to keep in mind, adds a little bit about other characters with how they interact with the primary focus (pointing out Lucio’s job of going back and forth between frontline and backline in this comp was something I needed to hear), and are easier to share than 3 hour breakdowns of an entire series (I’m sorry Spilo)
Consistency in the face of pro level tracers, and making only one or two costly mistakes is impressive. I feel supports that carry often lack the community gratitude as a huge dva bomb, or genji blade might receive. Support is my weakest role by far, and it's incredible to watch someone who's mastered the character and tempo of brawl so well they know when to save booster jump, or when to trust their tank. Incredible match and an earned subscribed button.
Personally, as a DPS/Support player, I feel the "gratitude" Supports is often in the form of the enemy team going straight for your soul the moment you start performing well lol. One or two good grips as Lifeweaver and the game turns into Dead by Daylight vs. their Tank.
Not even playing much Ow currently, or following pro-play, but these analysis videos are still really interesting! Love how you explain everything from individual decisions to overall teamplay, whilst also acknowledging the misplays made by Landon. Keep up the content!
While you, CommanderX, and Tommathon have all been my favorite channels lately, your content specifically has rekindled my passion and love for the game. Thank you for being you!
i've gotten a lot of your vids in my feed lately but never clicked because i thought it might go over my head or otherwise not be useful, but after watching this one i'm definitely gonna keep watching, your analysis and explanations are super fantastic and clear, and i find your editing extremely pragmatic and great for assisting your analysis, which is great! you use video speed super effectively, i love that also, ive seen a few of your tweets, and i think you're really selling your voice short :)
Another awesome and very high quality video! I like the way you explain what's going on, on the screen, and then further explains why what's happening is happening 😊 watched all of your vids and some of your lives on TikTok, and you helped me rank up from gold to diamond 3 in season 11 which I think is pretty sweet! Keep up the great work my guy, its truly awesome.
I've never seen your channel, I think this videos was great!! I rarely bother to watch pro OW because there's just too much happening, and too quickly, for me to really get anything meaningful out of it. This play-by-play breakdown of the teams' decisions and positions was super valuable and made this match not only a million times more understandable, but also entertaining since I had the time and context to appreciate the details of what was happening. Subbed, thank you!
I think you might be the strongest technical communicator in the OW coaching space. you are so concise and definite, it makes absorbing knowledge through the exceptionally fast pace of play much easier.
That was an awesome watch and i love watching prop play but when you break it down like thus is where i really ge tto appreciate it with understanding of whats going on, great stuff and keep it up
AMAZING video ari, i’m introducing my friend to overwatch and he loves bap so far… love how u highlighted the crucial mistakes landon made as well! keep it up :)
This gave me a lot of points to think about on how I play bap. I like to say I'm a bap main that a lot of this is obvious information, but not something I could a tualyl say I actively act on. For example, trusting my tank to stay alive, sure I can make the excuse that I am not in a high enough elo to assume my tank would, seeing how I'm plat an and all. But I know that I simply on impulse would jump over the mai wall to heal. Not because I don't trust my tank, but because I don't consider his health, rather just 'hes in a bad spot, i gotts Help him out'. Good stuff keep it up, I'll be looking out for more videos from you on bap, and checking out your channel! 🎉
Amazing video Coach Ocie, you have helped me understand the game in away that I never imagined and I finally managed to hit diamond with the insight you provide!!
Really good analysis. SSG was also counting to repeat that spawnhold vs Racoons, but get rolled with outpick on maxed out dmg comp (then swapping), including zen(!)&hanzo(!) of all picks...
15:00 this is one of the most satisfying game sense things to be able to do, no matter rank or level of gameplay. We won a team fight yesterday by me hearing only a few Tracer footsteps before she crouched, and knowing where she was going to be based on my own Tracer gameplay. I was able to surprise sleep her and we picked her off. She was close to pulse, which very well could have lost us the fight.
Yeah a long time ago I once heard a Tracer walking around and I charged up a zen volley and right as it was about to autofire Tracer popped into line of sight and I instantly deleted her, it was pretty satisfying.
ive been playing and watching overwatch content since open beta hit consoles, you have some of the best analysis since Ryan was doing overwatch central
I loved this video. "Trivial" is entirely subjective. Phenomenal break-down of the Skills of Restraint and Planning for What your Enemy Intends to Accomplish while making decisions.
5:59 this is probably some of the best advice. pressure the tank in the neutral but when there's an easy opportunity to kill a squishy you gotta take it and not be so laser focused on your first target
Let’s go!!!!!! I live for Landon and SSG content… (I love Landon so much inspiration for me to play bap) And an Ocie analysis is just amazing. Thank you! ❤
I got rid of my PC so I can't even play overwatch right now but for some reason I am addicted to these breakdowns. They're so high quality that I don't even think of them as technical, incredible work.
Fantastic video as always ocie. Just wanna give you a quick reminder, that you are your own harshest critic, and in this case seemingly by far :D quality was as good as always to me, found none of the issues you mentioned. Thay extra 2% quality compared to the quicker uploads are for you to decide, but for me this level of quality is plenty enough. Can i suggest a video on raccoons constant perfect comp swaps, or on shus positioning and aggro plays in particular?
It would be nice info if you put the date of the match in the description if it's avaliable. I noticed the mag grenade on cass and realized this probably wasn't recently played. Not that it takes anything away from the video, it would just be nice for context. Awesome vid btw, I always insta click when I see you uploaded.
ty for making content on the OW pro scene (as well as providing stuff that can help the average player), wish the scene got more attention (and wasn't with shit marketing from Micro-Bliz and such)
I made a comment in the last vid asking for this and idk if I’m the reason u made it but whether or not it is, thank you😭. I’ve been wanting to see you do a video for ssg
I wish I could use this knowledge but most of The communication that happens in gold lobbies is no communication they're actually wanting each other telling each other to attack etc How do you do what he's doing when that's what I'm dealing with
Once went against a tracer that did exactly this. Kept flanking during a push and killing our healers in the back line. Except I never have pro healers 🤣 they die and blame the team for their death when we fighting the team
This video didn't exactly reach the quality mark I was hoping for. Audio cutting has many imperfections and some explanations may be a bit confusing, apologies for those mistakes. My voice was also shaky so that wasn't great either. I will work towards more consistency in the production of these videos in the future.
Im just happy for 3 videos in days
i still really enjoyed your video! keep it up queen
if you hadnt pointed the audio mistakes out, i wouldnt have even noticed them

seeing kevster jumping around on hadi's head while he was blocking was really funny, peak rammattra gameplay
I INCLUDED IT BCS IT FOUND IT FUNNY LOL
“Seicoe did a bit of mining of camera.” Well played Coach… well played.

“old hero good new hero bad, I can’t adapt to change but I would complain if they never changed the game”
@@itsfacta8197 Yes, because Ram being able to block and survive 5 people shooting at him is peak game design. Bravo Blizzard!
@@Boss-kq4px D'va DM, Orisa Fortify, and maybe even Rein shield might've let the tank survive that
yeah but you never trust your tank in regular comp, or you're gonna get a "no heals" from the tank

9:38 I’ve always liked how bap field has the same arc as his healing super helpful kind of reminds me of ender pearls and snowballs in Minecraft.
And Zarya secondary fire and zarya ult
bro i got to d2 this season as a bap main and i didnt even know
@@julpezri damn well now you know use it for better knowledge

landon pov analysis WE ARE HERE!!
i used to pray for times like this
I struggle with Baptiste's resources. I either panic and use them too quick, or I don't use them quick enough

It is insane how much value regen burst is in coordinated brawl. Such an instant chunk of ult charge
If you would do another video on SSG you could do a video on the sym Mei on circuit and why no team even when banning around it can seem to beat it
I won't be covering any EWC matches
Small comment but I love ur content and really hope you do more, always watch the news ones as soon as I’m free 🙏
