@@mike-t5u5m Spike and Rarity can never be a couple. Considering spike is just a juvenile in the entire series (except at the ends and finales), he sees Rarity as just some sort of crush. Rarity is a young adult, and even if this is fantasy, Rarity only sees spike as some sort of an amazing younger-brother-pet-assistant of Twilight's. Honestly, it's a better way of sending a message that it isn't bad to be friend-zoned, or to even have a crush; it teaches us that at in every moment, we cherish those we grow up and stay along with. Long story short, Spike just sees Rarity as a childhood crush. Nothing more.

In the episode "Lost of the Mark " when the CMC's were showing every pony their new Cutie marks and Apple Jack said if mom and dad were here they would so proud of you. And in the special "The perfect Gift " when Rarity showed up empty hoof about Apple Jack's gift it mentions a little advice from Apple Jack that Bright Mac gave her his hat and AJ said that sometimes the hat chooses the pony.
I always thought the chimera killed them too. Also, the censoring of death in a kid's show makes no sense. Kids know what death is from a young age. Censors: We can't mention death! I really like the timber wolf theory, but They don’t seem the type going down by timber wolves(seeing how easy they’re defeated) so I say: they tell the children to run to the farm they stay behind being the distraction one got hit, slid to a ledge and is now dangling so the other tries to save said fallen pony and as the this pony tries to pull the other up they get surrounded and the one hanging on the edge says let go (but I don’t know how to continue) so, one gets hit against rock other pony sees this and blocks timber wolf gets knocked away slides down ledge other wakes up. Sees partner slide and hold onto the ledge slowly losing grip, tries to catch misses thinks of the children but jumps after in hope of catching the other and taking the blow?. (But I feel like the one jumping after would not because of the children) so maybe they ran unknowingly towards a cliff and fell down together with the timber wolf chasing them? Anyway it’s really sad they are no longer with us cuz they would have 120% brightened up the show even more and they would have definitely been one of my fav characters but it definitely hit my emotions 😢❤ ( I also thought maybe they were created in loving memory of, but I couldn’t find anything)

(Since it was mentioned in the series that they came from a different land other than Equestria) 4. Are there other species like Discord? Was Sombra an alicorn? I think the creators were also showing their love as the love of Romeo and Juliet meaning their fates could have been like Romeo and Juliet. I highly doubt they killed themselves but they died from the same wounds as the couple in the play. My guess is that Bright Mac died by drinking in a poisonous lake and Buttercup died by a Timber Wolf attack.

My head canon is that, like in the Herald's of Valdemar series, The Everfree Forest had "magic storms" that at a first glance could have "killed" the parents where in truth they were alive just teleported. They could be so far north, past even the reindeer, that no one knows what is that far north. And they most likely gave up getting home. At least from a canon pov.
My Theory is that shortly after apple bloom was born bright Mac and buttercup (Pear Butter) when on a trip to Canterlot for a delivery but on there way back they unfortunately made a wrong turn which led them to getting stuck in the middle of the everfree forest. While trying to find there way out a pack of timber wolfs attacked the couple, bright Mac started fending out the wolfs and told buttercup to run and find help but due to her injury’s she wasn’t able to run fast enough and collapsed to where the timber wolfs caught up the buttercup and finished her off killing both of them that night. A few days later the couple was found and a big ceremony was held in ponyville to honor bright Mac and buttercup and at the ceremony applejack was given her fathers hat and Big Mac was given bright Macs yoke. This event lead to applejack becoming very protective of applebloom and Big Mac slowly losing the interest to talk as a teenager and becoming a pony of few words. Applejack, Big McIntosh and Apple learn more about their parents Bright Mac and Pear Butter in the flashback of how they first met and fall in love 💖but what I don't understand is why they haven't been seen on My Little Pony Friendship is Magic series beside from this back story episode. Since we only saw how Apple Jack got her cutie mark in S1: Episode 23 - "The Cutie Mark Chronicles"; and not even a cameo of Bright Macintosh and Buttercup( Pear Butter ), have they really gone before Apple Bloom was born? Come to think of it, a lot of speculations are stating that Apple Bloom *was* an adoptive sister of Apple Jack, their words not mine. But it's a cool theory.
tbh im not sure if this theory is true cause in that same episode applejack said "doesnt she know how dangerous that place is?" So when apple bloom when to send it applejack knew where she had to send it and knew it was dangerous
I was not under the impression that Bright Mac and Buttercup were among the deceased. I thought perhaps they had left the farm and gone somewhere far away, though it would not explain why they had to leave their family behind. Fans tend to make stuff up when they get impatient for a head canon answer from the makers themselves. If death were canon, then the thought of losing both parents at once is pretty scary. It wouldn't say it was inappropriate for children because Sesame Street covers the topic a loved one being dead, in which there isn't an easy way to put it. But being killed by a chimera is a source of trauma fuel that never leaves you. It begs the question, why would the Apple parents go to not-so-romantic spot where timber wolves and other dangerous creatures are bound to be?
I mean with the Multiverse and how it works. They’re not dead in every universe just in some, especially in the main timeline do not question the Multiverse
My thing is possibly that the mom possibly passed away from complications after having apple bloom and the father could've developed an acute illness which possibly became terminal when diagnosed not too long after due to grief of losing his lover just to make it plain amd simple

Isn’t it because of the timber wolf that caused their death, because their farm is the nearest to the ever forest. So maybe baby apple bloom run around and accidentally running into the ever forest where Big Mac and apple jack chase after her, and then they in counter a pack of timber wolfs so their parents come to their rescue but end up sacrificing their own life.

Since we only saw how Apple Jack got her cutie mark in S1: Episode 23 - "The Cutie Mark Chronicles"; and not even a cameo of Bright Macintosh and Buttercup( Pear Butter ), have they really gone before Apple Bloom was born? Come to think of it, a lot of speculations are stating that Apple Bloom *was* an adoptive sister of Apple Jack, their words not mine. But it's a cool theory.

I was not under the impression that Bright Mac and Buttercup were among the deceased. I thought perhaps they had left the farm and gone somewhere far away, though it would not explain why they had to leave their family behind. Fans tend to make stuff up when they get impatient for a head canon answer from the makers themselves. If death were canon, then the thought of losing both parents at once is pretty scary. It wouldn't say it was inappropriate for children because Sesame Street covers the topic a loved one being dead, in which there isn't an easy way to put it. But being killed by a chimera is a source of trauma fuel that never leaves you. It begs the question, why would the Apple parents go to not-so-romantic spot where timber wolves and other dangerous creatures are bound to be?
I mean with the Multiverse and how it works. They’re not dead in every universe just in some, especially in the main timeline do not question the Multiverse
My thing is possibly that the mom possibly passed away from complications after having apple bloom and the father could've developed an acute illness which possibly became terminal when diagnosed not too long after due to grief of losing his lover just to make it plain amd simple

We know how applejack is right?, if not then ill let you know, hopefully that might be, applejack cares a lot of her family and is honest!, at least now she is, just watch that one episode that she used to be a liar as a kid, so what if that actually involves from that, what if the reason why applejacks parents became gone was her, now hear me out i know you'll later reply "BUT SHE'D NEVER DO THAT!" or "ARE YOU INSANE?!" I get it, but she looked at those shooting stars as if she knew those were her parents, and yet lets just say it might involve about it being in the house, so lets just say probably that even though the barn looks fine it can actually be quite dangerous, considering it can be flamable, and yes you know what i mean, so basically when applejack decided to try and help out her little sister when she was sick by making soup and yet she has experience of that, and when she tried she accidentally left it for too long and then the whole barn was set into a blaze, which might be why she also knows how to use fire boots, and yet when brignt mac and pear butter saved the family they didn't save themselves which might be why she is worried for applebloom, not only because she is worried she might get hurt but also the terror of letting her burn the barn like what she did from before as a mistake, yes it might not make any sense because of the tiger and goat and snake but she probably learned all of those from fluttershy you know, so of course she knows about fire because of what she did, she felt sorry after everything and yet she helped fix the barn and after a few long days or months or maybe even years of to be able to be forgiven, she still felt bad which might be why she tried to make sure her little sister was safe in the barn, not because of her worried, but also worried if she might do the same mistsake she did and will never see her again, and that's all, thanks for reading this, i know its long😅
Pear butter was a pear and bright Mack was a apple and their parents were both enimes but their kids couldn’t stop falling in love🥰🥰🥰 but then the pears were moving and she was devastated so bright Mack had a idea so he planed a wedding but their parents saw what was going on but then pear butter said are you making me choose🥺🥺 and her dad said yes then she said yes an that’s how they falled in love😢😢

Isn’t it because of the timber wolf that caused their death, because their farm is the nearest to the ever forest. So maybe baby apple bloom run around and accidentally running into the ever forest where Big Mac and apple jack chase after her, and then they in counter a pack of timber wolfs so their parents come to their rescue but end up sacrificing their own life.
