    Man, you're explanation is awesome! I didnt miss any step, like you took my hand and led me to the result. What else to say, we need tutorials like this one! Thanks!

    nice video. it would be nice if you could slow down a bit. Found myself pausing every 2 seconds and ultimately changing the playback speed to follow along without having to move between youtube and blender. Great material though! :)

    Great video man! Feel like I need to loop it a few times and mess with settings to make sure I'm good with what every node is affecting but the results are awesome.

      I made a backroom animation and i was knowledgeless on how the software works so I put it at 4K and it was still running after 3 days and it wasn’t even 12% finished

    Thanks gfor the video, but you need to slow down, and keep the whole node tree in view, so we can see what is going to what. You use the shortcuts so quick, it's hard to follow...

    Hey nice video but, I have a question why my bump dont looks as yours, it looks like thousands of mini circulated cones, and I'm using the same blender version than u. Can u help me?

    Overall, I enjoyed this tutorial, but I would've appreciated it if you would've shown an overview of the entire node setup at the end. It took a bit for me to apply this information to my own project because you never really showed all the nodes at once.

  • @jonathanX01

    1:56 - Why didn't you just group the nodes? Group them and assign the Scale, Threshold, and Color B to the Group Input and assign the Mix result to Group Output.

    • @JRoss3D
      @JRoss3D  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      That’s a good point, I thought it was simpler to explain and at the time I didn’t use Group Nodes much in my materials

      @jonathanX01 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@JRoss3D I try to use them as much as possible myself. Good to organizations when used duplicated nodes. Also best to use frames for nodes you only use once.

      Do you have the node wrangler Add-On enabled? If not, it’s in your preferences! It gives you access to some additional shortcuts
