Thank you! I was looking everywhere for this setup. The heatbed i had actually had the two thermistor wires soldered to it... Been wracking my mu brain trying to solder the bead on but maybe i dont have to with these kinds? I'll give this a go!
Hi I had a thermal runaway error on a sovol sv03. I replaced the nozzle thermistor worked fine. Then got thermal runaway on the bed. Replaced that one too. I reused the yellow tape cause it felt sticky enough but I'm still getting thermal runaway. Could I have done something wrong? It's straightforward I don't think I have. Or is not replacing that yellow tape actually an issue
Hey if you're still having this problem, you might want to watch the temperature readout. If it jumps to a different temperature then faults out it'd likely a wiring issue. If it moves to a different temperature gradually then it's likely something physical. I've had both happen to me so far
On the initial setup I'm getting a heater/thermistor not connected. Would you recommend removing the heated and removing the tape and reconnecting it? Thanks!
Hey before taking the tape off it might be worth while to unplug the thermistor at the board and measure it directly. This could tell you if there's a problem with the thermistor or something else
Do you know if this same part and process would work on a Prusa i3 mk2? I got it used and it's giving me the thermal runaway error.
Sorry not sure man, the mk3 is the first one I've owned
I had the error when I upgraded the shroud to the Hero Me and ddn't notice that the thermistor's bare wires were exposed at the end touching the heat block and shorting.
Yikes! Yeah that'll do it!
