*If you wish to look like Austin Powers, then wear Chelsea boots.* You might as well add the finishing touches to the look by acquiring a blue velvet suit and colonial lace Jabot and cuffs set.

If you wish to dress like a man, an actual manly man, rather than a metro, then leave the Chelsea boots where those belong, the 1960s.
While you are at it, leave behind the chukka boot as well.
A lace-up dress boot with a non-skid sole for winter is right. For those snowy days and rainy days, a duck boot is the right decision. Hiking? Wear a pair of hiking boots.
For meeting friends in the pub, moc toe "work" boots or service boots.
For that winter boot for the white collar environment, wear derby boots or Oxford boots.
Oh and leave the Timberland boot for the rappers. Timberlands were fashionable in the early 1980s but have long since been ruined by rappers.

Lace up boots are never dress boots. That is a contradiction. High quality Chelseas are elegant but not for important business, e.g., court. The it's Oxfords and rubbers or better overboots.

i wear logger boots and a 6 inch shaft work boot and western rubber sooled boots

Blundstones look amazing but my feet just cannot fit them without moving all over the place and heel slippage. Got Redwings as my laceups and for walking and work its gore tex all the way. I live in Scotland so nearly all of these are of no use whatsoever.

I've stopped watching this channel as much as I used to because of the PU leather boot recommendations.
Any guy serious enough about fashion to subscribe to this channel would only want to see a 100% leather boot on their feet.

Spend a lot of money on style for quality. Unless they're a sponsor.
