I always trust that I can come to your channel and find the perfect recipe to make in my instant pot! It has become my family's tradition to have an Olive Garden Christmas meal, my brother placing an expensive order. But over the years, we have begun to make it at home, and this is the first year I looked for an instant pot recipe for this soup! Thank you, and Merry Christmas!
We saw this on your website before I saw the video. We made this last night, it is so flavorful and blew us away! It will definitely be going into our soup rotation.
Ever since making your horse-radish pot roast, I have been hooked on your recipes. The potato soup is one more delicious recipe I am adding to my "Mindful Mom" repertoire. Thanks for what you do and I wish you for continued good health.
Wow I will definitely try this and add potatoes to my grocery list. Potatoes are the only thing I don't have and that is the star of the show. Thanks for sharing
In a 6qt pot can I double this? We usually pool dinners with our daughters family next door!! Looks wonderful. I love your channel. I never cook chicken breast for salads or stews any other way than in the IP with pineapple juice…so good. Glad you are feeling better!
Thanks Cathy! I love hearing my recipe for chicken breast is your go-to! As for doubling this, yes--but be sure to allow for full pressure release (or at least 20 minutes) after cooking so you don't have a big old mess!
I have potatoes just waiting for a good recipe, I’m definitely going to make this for lunches this week now that the weather in Scotland has really turned cold! Does the soup keep well for reheating with the milk in? Or should I only add the milk and cornstarch to that days portion? Thanks for another lovely recipe 😊
Perfect timing Kristen - as it’s 🇬🇧bonfire night (Nov 5th = Guy Fawkes) over here tonight. I was going to do some baked potatoes to warm us up after braving the elements to watch the fireworks - but this looks like a perfect alternative. By the way, we loved the stuffed peppers from your last recipe👍 ATB
Hi Kristen Fof the small instant pot duo (which my daughter has), what proportions of ingredients would you suggest? I am thinking at least half of 6 quart size. Thank again for timely recipes I continue to use as a one pot meal cooker:)
LOL! Well, to be honest, I sometimes have my husband, son, or daughter help me so that I can grab a good shot. I trust them to stir more than I do to film :)

Hi Caitlin! This will warm you up for sure! This soup does not freeze well, but can be refrigerated and reheated for up to 5 days.
@@AMindFullMom Thank you so much for the reply! I don't think it would last long enough in our house to freeze 😁
@@TheKotchykus LOL! It doesn't here either!!
Love this! Looks warming and filling
That it is! I hope you give it a try!

We were just about to make this when this video came up. ❤
YAY!! Perfect timing!
I am wanting to double this recipe. Same time to pressure cook? Thanks!
Yes! Just keep in mind it will take longer to come to pressure.

So hapy to hear you enjoyed the Stuffed Peppers. And I think this soup will warm you to the core.

Hi Mark! I would cut the ingredients in half and keep the cooking time the same.
I have everything on hand except cornstarch. Alternative please?
You could use flour the same way. Mix into the milk and then add to the soup to thicken. Enjoy!
Im going to put some butter shrimp on top.😅
Oh yum!!!
👍🏻👍🏻
Whose hands are those on the close ups? Not yours, I don’t think.
Great recipe!

Can you leave tater skins on?
Yes! It will just change the texture a bit.
