Yeah I've used it before on my Note 10.1. It helps a lot, but the issue is that it's another manual step. At least, it was about a year ago last time I used it.

That's because unlike PC hardware I don't get sample units ahead of time. I have to wait in line like everyone else.

It *looks* like backlight flicker. The same effect can be seen on LED christmas lights. I should have clarified this in the video.

Great feature. I don't have any NFC tags, so I wasn't able to do anything with it. I thought a company was going to send us some, but that never materialized. Maybe I should get some.

To be totally honest, Linus should start a separate channel just focusing on new phones and tablets. Everyone focuses on numbers so much these days but it's reviews like these that actually tell me about how the phone functions in a person's life. Very well put together review Linus. but the HTC One doesn't have the on screeen back buttons and home buttons right? so it has a bit bigger screen. not that i'm a fan boy of HTC orsomething like that but i noticed the same with my nexus 7 tablet.

great review Linus. Your experience with displays help shed some light on the AMOLED color saturation. Deeper blacks but more yellowish whites.

Linus what do you think about the new Eizo 23,5" LED Foris FG2421-BK monitor it is suposed to have 240Hz.
Display rotation speed is changeable in the developer options.

Solid video. Focused on the stuff that matters like the screen and battery and less about the box it comes in.

Can't you use the VOL button to unlock the phone? My Cyanogen Mod 7 Galaxy S Facscinate on Android 2.3.7 let's me use the volume button to unlock the phone since the power button is recessed farther inside the casing makes it much easier.
I think Linus should do a review on the Sony Xperia Z1. I've been using it for 3 weeks and I absolutely love it. I use it as a console via mhl tv link and Bluetooth ps3 controller
Does the X have a 2A charger and the One less? That could be the charging issue

Haha! Best unboxing ever! I'm not a big fan of unboxings, they are slow, and kind of dumb. I mean do I really care what the box, or the inside of the box looks like? I just want to see the hardware, and I want to see it in action, and I want to get the reviewer's first impressions. In most unboxings I'm bored to tears. So when you just threw in the box at the end I was laughing my head off. I wish every unboxing was just like that!
I wonder can you with stock android remove all apps you want, I hate how my S3 forces me to have a bunch of apps I don't want, nor use.

Linus, the fuzz about stock android is that it's much smoother than touchwiz, for example.

I bought this for my gf at launch and I got a droid maxx (needed battery for field work).
Motorola has come a long way. By far the best android experience I have ever had.
