I remember going to a truck pull when I was about 12, and I was amazed at the normal trucks at first. Then, the unlimited class came and shook dust and dirt off the roof.

What these tractors need is tracks. If you see tanks and tracked vehicles pulling these, they get all the way down the track and don't stop...

A hobby that takes hundreds of thousands to get into it and the winning pot is like 500 bucks sometimes. lol. And if I had the damn money I'd do it too! I know some guys with these tractors and so many are just farmers who pull off amazing feats of engineering in their designs and setups.

Well that is the Modified class. They are way more budget friendly classes. But you have to have the want to do this. Some people spend just as much to fish on the river. Life is about having hobbies and we all need hobbies. And respect all the various hobbies that are out there.

I went to a tractor pull once. Oh was I ever glad it was an outdoor event, because the only ear protection I had was my fingers.

I use Radians custom molded earplugs on willwhitt.com/Amazon. And search Radians custom molded earplugs. They reduce noise by -26db. Great for me as I can’t plug my fingers in my ears while filming.

Google Planetary gear box. There is a sun gear and planet gears. They are all connected by an SCS brand gearbox. The gearing on these machines is in such a way they drive the sun gear which is sent right into the rear lens of the tractor timed perfectly. The throttle controls the engines identically. The main cause for failure is a blower belt in this particular setup.
