Games have been 60 dollars since the 80s......Inflation is a thing. If they really adjusted for inflation base price would be over 100 dollars anyway. COPE.
Love when people don't even watch the video. You totally missed the point. I have no problem with the base version being 70 dollars up from 60. My whole issue is paid day 1 dlc costing over 100 dollars.
@@stillsolo I watched the entire thing. Up 10 dollars in 4 to 5 decades? No if they REALLY adjusted for inflation you would be paying over 100 bucks anyway so what is the issue? That there is a cheaper version with less content that people can afford? Economics is a thing and gaming companies shouldn't lose money because people are mad at the fact that gaming developers haven't adjusted for inflation in 4 to 5 decades.
@@austinshade7155 games also used to come with packaging, artwork and pamphlets etc as well as a physical disc. this is all digital download now so your take is actually counter intuitive considering a massive portion of the cost to the developers of video games disappeared during the age of digital downloads. youre acting like the content isnt already in the game and stripping it away to greedily incentivize people to spend more money on a game that isn't even good to begin with just because they know diehard SW fans will pay the extra money for it and still maintain a base model price of $70 to save face. your opinion is bad and your take on inflation is fair but you literally forgot the other half of the business in your cost adjustment. I don't think you know what you're talking about at all.
@@SHANDindustries Have you played it? How do you know it isn't good? Disks cost close to nothing etc, The actual development of the game still today makes up for the amount of loss. Yes the content that's in the full game costs more. And you and everybody else would be CRYING harder if they included everything in the base game and charged a flat rate of say 130 plus dollars. So you will never be happy because everybody doesn't understand how this shit works. I know what I am talking about. Like I said in the original comment, COPE. If you don't want to do that then just don't buy the game. I myself don't like the company making the game either. Nor do I like ANY of the new Star wars games coming out. But that doesn't mean I am going sit here and act like inflation isn't a thing.
