There is a “cry” in her voice that is so moving and penetrating at the same time. I pray that she stays grounded and who she is. Her voice is a true gift from God.

What a beautiful angelic voice she has. Nobody in this competition can touch what she does. She has everything it takes to be a real superstar and win the title of American Idol.

I previously said she peaked in her audition. I stand corrected. This was great.
She made magic and reinvented the song, giving even more meaning to the lyrics with just a voice and a piano. SHE IS THE TRUE LEGIT WINNER.
Wow. The emotion, the anguish she communicates ... when she opens up its like being hit with a sunburst when you expected a light bulb. And her piano mastery turns this song into a duet. Just a special, special talent. I dont know how you improve on an Adele song, but she managed to do it.

She picks songs that show versatility but hit songs. I like something that show personality. Like it’s easy to always to pick hit songs that you can just show off.

This candidly might be the greatest performance in Idol history, and I've been watching since season one! Nobody holds a candle to Adele, until now. It was so beyond amazing, including the orchestra and unique rendition! Keep doing what you are doing, Abi!!! That was out of this world 🌎!! 🫢

I've never had this much interest in american idol or rewatched performances over and over! Abi is something special.
She was born to sing and born to be a superstar. That is pure emotion with a Voice that is beyond goosebumps and a voice that is straight from heaven. My god she is a master on the piano and the guitar, all just to let you know she can do anything musically and leave you utterly breathless. Katy nailed it when she said it was "angelic frequency". I really felt like I was listening to an angel. I can't imagine what that must have been like to be there hearing that live. That was bananas.
Also, something about her made me think of Whitney Houston.
I dream of watching Abi Carter live someday. I could EASILY see Katy Perry taking Abi on her next tour. Abi would be a perfect fit, BOTH Pop, Diva's. Abi could do a duet with her. It would be such a MAGICAL moment live.
I DREAM of seeing Abi live someday with a professional piano like this, a wonderful live band like this and NOT her hometown performance at the Indio Park. Special evening but NOT high quality HD. My friends when Abi gets professional she will start knocking them dead. We're talkin filling arenas. You watch. She has won fans from young ages 7 years old to 80 year old fans. I'm 62 and adore her. That's INCREDIBLE talent to be able to appeal to ages that broad. I would pay OVER $200 a ticket to see her live just singing the songs she sang on Idol live, and her new singles. I would weep multiple times from the joy she would bring everyone hearts 😊😋😍😏🤗

You got to me, and brought it all back, which was a beautiful sadness that, after many years, has again found itself in my heart. But it’s good, because everything deserves a home. So I am grateful. This performance gave me the MOST goosebumps, even over What we you made for. The judges were gushing over this for good reason, it gives Adeles version a run for her $$$. This was INCREDIBLE 😊

Looks like Vegas was wrong. If Will Mosley had a one over her. I would have believed the show was rigged. He is nowhere near in the class she is as a vocalist. Personally I was shocked that will Mosley made it past the top 20.
