I’ve read Notes On An Execution and First Lie Wins and enjoyed both! Can’t tell you much about either, not sure if that’s because of the books or because my memory sucks 😂 Very intrigued by This Is How You Lose the Time War, A Love Song for Ricki Wilde, and My Brilliant Friend! My favorite books I read in August were Pride and Prejudice and Remarkably Bright Creatures (both re-reads) and Oathbringer by Brandon Sanderson!

I read This Is How You Lose The Time War back in June and it’s definitely my book of the year so far. It was just beautiful.

i read the whole quartet recently and the 2nd one is defo the best. overall personally i think best to worst is 2,3,4,1
I loved The Sun Down Motel by Simone St. James so I would recommend it for a good autumnal read.
