you should try polticial fantasy like game of thrones. there are many subgenres romantasy is one(twilight, acotar..) there is also epic hero ones like eragon, mistborn then there is academia one like harry potter i jsut dont want people to see fantasy as a single thing like only of stephanie garbers or sarah j maas there is much more

I’ve listened to We used to live here and I also really enjoyed it! My favorite book in October is in German „Die schönste Version“ and my second favorite one was „The nothing man“. I’m currently reading haunted ever after, I’m 40 % in and like it so far. But I have to say, I neeeever read romance books and I’m happy that the ghost stuff is heavily in focus as well haha because I like stuff like this 🤭🤭

I’ve read Moon of the Crested Snow and I was drawn to it for the same reasons you are however I found it to be quite boring and forgettable… I hope you have a better experience with it maybe it’s just me 🍁❄️
